Jasmin watched as the red-orange ropes whipped around in the blowing wind. She looked on with surprise as another dragon shot out of nowhere and started fighting the battle of yellow-and-black dragons.

This dragon was forest green, with flecks of gold scales glimmering as she moved. At first, Jasmin thought she was a RainWing, since the mystery dragon had two wings. But her wings were shaped like huge, curving leaves, and there was a ferocious glint in her dark brown eyes that Jasmin had never seen in any RainWings except Queen Glory.

The green butterfly dragon yelped as a black dragon with orange splotches reached out with outstretched claws. She produced more fire from her wrists. They knotted together, and the green dragon started creating more of it. The strands tangled around her horns, wings, and her entire body, and the wind blew her towards Jasmin.

"Swordtail!" Jasmin heard the butterfly dragon cry as she whisked away from the others. The hybrid quickly camouflaged into her surroundings, not wanting to be seen by her. The other dragon, the deep blue one with shades of orange, turned around and flew towards her.

"Luna!" Swordtail, as the green dragon had called him, called. As he drew nearer, Jasmin saw that triangular spots of white flecked his body. Luna reached out helplessly towards Swordtail. Jasmin watched Luna being pulled towards the ocean by the uncontrollable wind.

What about the other dragon? She wondered. The leaf-dragon was left to battle the patrol of black-and-yellow dragons all by herself. She was strong and fast, but no one could take on three full-grown dragons by themselves.

Except a fully-trained assassin.

Jasmin hesitated. What if Luna and Swordtail and their savior were the bad ones? But they looked no older than her. And they looked so frightened. What self-respecting dragon would take on two dragonets that were so happy?

When the dark green dragonet let out a hiss of pain as one of the yellow dragons clawed her shoulder, Jasmin didn't stop to think as she launched herself, still invisible, towards the battle to help her.
