"Jasmin? Are you okay?" Jasmin stared at her own talons, stained red with Eclipse and Coyote's blood. She barely heard the faint, familiar voice coming closer. "Jasmin!"
Jasmin turned around. There, standing tall and straight as always, with his glinting ice-blue scales, was the dragon she'd never expected to see again for the rest of her life.
Winter.
"Winter?" Jasmin trembled. "Look what I've done. I've killed my own father. I've watched someone eat my own pet."
"No, you didn't," Winter looked down at the bloody, bruised, misshapen body of her father. "This is a dream. None of this is real."
"But it is!" Jasmin buried her head into her talons. "How can this be fake?"
"This is a dream," Winter repeated. "You didn't kill this SandWing. I know you, and you'd never do that."
"Even when I almost hit you with my venom?" Jasmin looked up straight into his dark blue eyes.
"Yeah." Winter said sheepishly. "I guess I wasn't thinking very clearly when I said...you know. We're waiting for you back in Pyrrhia. Qibli forgot to mention something."
"Spit it out," Jasmin leaned in. She wiped off the dream-blood off her talons, pushing away Coyote's dead body. "I want to know."
"Turtle and Tsunami swam to the Lost Continent," Winter frowned. "They've arrived, but we've had no word from them after they told us where they were."
"Where are they?" Jasmin snapped to attention. "They may be close to where we are right now."
"Um..." Winter thought for a moment. "I think Tsunami said it was the...something forest? A rainforest?"
Jasmin stiffened. "The Poison Jungle?"
"Yes!" Winter cried. "You know where that is?"
"Of course! How could I not?" Jasmin stood up. "I'm there right now!"
"Really?" Winter jumped up, his eyes bright with excitement. "Tsunami said that they were with a tribe called the LeafWings. Do you know them?"
"LeafWings?" Jasmin frowned. "I'm here with them right now. But I didn't see any SeaWings."
"Are you certain?" He asked.
"Yeah. Positive." Jasmin hesitated as Winter began fading away.
"I think I'm waking up," She said at last. "But I'll let you know. Dreamvisit again, alright?"
"Sure." Winter called. "Be prepared for a lot of smiling and shining rainbows."
"Kinkajou." Jasmin laughed as she thought of the bright RainWings dragonet. "I'll be ready."
