"Hey." Jasmin touched down lightly besides Swordtail.
"Where were you?" He asked. "For a second I thought you'd went to kill Wasp."
"No, you pathetic butterfly, I was above you the whole time," She informed. "Cricket should be coming out anytime soon."
"Well, I guess we just...wait here for her to finish?" Blue said unsurely. He took a glass of purple juice and peered inside curiously. "What's this made out of?"
Jasmin sniffed at the glass. "I wouldn't eat that if I were a vegetarian SilkWing."
"Oh." He quickly set the glass down. "What's it made from, though?"
"Caterpillars and sugar, from the smell of it. Maybe some animal's blood; I'm not very experienced at those things. Just enough to find poison in my drinks," Jasmin frowned. "This thing doesn't look appetizing. More like grape mush. Though it's not. That one looks like it's made from seagull blood and honey, by the way."
Swordtail set a glass of blood red punch down on the table again, going pale.
"Thank you for this information," Sundew grinned. "Perhaps I can convince Wi- a vegetarian friend of mine to drink this thing."
"I can't wait to see their face, then," Jasmin laughed. "But seriously, what's taking Cricket so long?"
"She's here now." Swordtail nodded towards the HiveWing dragonet, who was flying towards them with a paintbrush, some papers, and pencils in her claws.
"I have an idea," She said as soon as she landed besides them. "Let's go back to the hiding place, and I'll explain it all to you."
"Did Lady Scarab know anything about your parents?" Blue asked. Cricket looked down at the ground.
"Yes. Katydid wasn't my sister. She's my mother." Her voice was strangled. "But my father was a HiveWing as well. Also, I found something out. Queen Wasp can't control Lady Scarab. She can't control Lady Jewel or Lady Cicada or any of the Hive rulers."
"Oh?" Sundew glanced at Cricket. "She was pretending all along?"
"Yup," Cricket grinned. "And I know a way to get HiveWings to overthrow their queen."
