"Qibli, what-" Jasmin broke off with a gasp. "It's really you! Oh my moons, I didn't even think about dreamvisitors! It's so good to see you! Hi, Moon in Qibli's head! I'm alive!"

She'd forgotten how much Qibli looked like Coyote. Same sandy scales, same friendly black eyes, same unusual freckles. Jasmin felt a tug in her heart as she thought of her dead father again. She wished he could be in the Scorpion Den, anxiously waiting for news of his missing daughter.

"How are you?" He asked. "Are you okay? Where are you?"

"I'm in the Lost Continent, Qibli! There are three tribes in here and I'm trying to save the continent from an evil mind-controlling queen along with some friends!"

"You made friends there?" He wrinkled his snout. "Are they nice?"

"Some of them. Swordtail's a bit annoying, though, and Sundew isn't the friendliest dragon in the continent," She laughed. "But Cricket is nice enough, and Blue is just the definition of 'positivity' and 'gentleness'."

"How'd you get all the way to the Lost Continent?" Qibli asked.

"I got caught in a storm while visiting a friend of mine, and I washed up on a shore," Jasmin explained. She saw the strange expression on her friend's expression. "Is something wrong?"

"Well, a dragon from the Lost Continent got caught in the storm as well," He frowned. "And she's in Jerboa's hut right now. Her name's Luna; have you heard of her? She seems to know Blue and Swordtail and all the other dragons you're with right now."

"Oh, I saw her," Jasmin remembered the elegant caterpillar-green SilkWing. "She's alright? I thought she was dead. Oh, I'd better tell Swordtail that Luna's fine. Tell her that Swordtail and Blue are alright. Blue's also a flamesilk, by the way."

"I have no idea what your saying but I'm happy for you and Luna," Qibli laughed. "Winter, Turtle, and Kinkajou will be so happy to hear that you're alive."

"Winter?" Jasmin sucked in a breath. "He's not mad?"

"Well, he was." The SandWing shrugged. "But I changed his one-sided mind and now he's thinking it's all his fault that you're probably dead."

"Tell him that I'm not and yes it was his fault!" Jasmin beamed- she normally didn't beam, but this was a miracle, to see her friend again- as Qibli began fading away.

"Wait! I need to tell you something!" He put in hurriedly. His yellow scales were growing fainter. "Animus magic- Turtle's magic- it isn't worki-"

Jasmin woke up with a start.

Animus magic doesn't work anymore?
