Jasmin needed to get out of the place. She knew that more HiveWings would come in soon. She wasn't completely sure that Wasp was entirely dead, but there wasn't much time to check.
I'd better get going, Jasmin thought, and ran out of the room. She paused as she saw a glass case with hundreds of weapons. There, in the right end, was her knife, the lava rock right besides it.
Jasmin glanced around before smashing the fragile glass, and grabbed her knife and rock. She raced out of the palace as quickly as possible, and was relieved to find fresh air and an open sky waiting for her.
I'm free, Jasmin thought, relieved. Finally.
Now I can get back to Pyrrhia.
Jasmin had managed to sneak past the entrance, flying over the walls to reach dry, green grass. She sighed as she felt the soft soil touch her claws, relieved to feel anything but hard stone.
The chain was still around her neck, and her arm was still broken. She needed to be careful and quick to find the group of SilkWings that were still in Pantala.
The ones not infected by Wasp's mind control, of course.
I'll check Jewel Hive first, Jasmin decided. Maybe I'll find Tau or Cinnabar or even Morpho.
She flew to the Hive, relieved to find it close by. The hybrid landed near the structure, careful not to be seen.
They wouldn't be here; it was too close to Jewel Hive, where any of them could be caught in an instant.
But maybe further away, with a water source...Aha!
Jasmin had scouted further away from Jewel Hive, searching through every rabbit burrow and cave, when she finally heard hushed whispers behind large bushes. Jasmin carefully slipped through the thorns to find-
SilkWings!
