"Are you a SilkWing?" Cricket asked curiously. "Maybe a SilkWing-LeafWing hybrid?"

"I don't know and I want to know what that is," Jasmin replied. "But no."

"Okay! So you're from the Distant Kingdoms?" Cricket guessed.

"How about this," Jasmin sighed. "You tell me what happened to you and what a SilkWing and LeafWing is and some other things about this place."

"I'd love to," The golden dragonet beamed, and Jasmin had the impression that she should get comfortable. "Well, SilkWings and LeafWings are two of the tribes in Pantala. This is Pantala, by the way. The other tribe- my tribe- are the HiveWings..."

Jasmin listened with great concentration as Cricket explained everything she knew about the Tree Wars, flamesilks, LeafWings, and Queen Wasp.

She also talked about how she, Blue, Sundew, and Swordtail stole the Book of Clearsight, and how they'd freed Luna from the flamesilk cave.

"So you're the only HiveWing who can't be controlled by Queen Wasp," Jasmin frowned. "And Blue and Luna's a flamesilk. Sundew's a LeafWing, and she's supposed to be dead. Her whole tribe should be dead. And Swordtail- what can he do?"

"Um, he's very...loud?" Cricket tried.

"Okay, skip that." Jasmin let out a small yawn. "I'm tired, so I'll just rest for a bit, alright?"

"Okay," The HiveWing nodded, then went back to her spot by Blue's cocoon. "Wait- one more question. What's your name and tribe?"

"That's two questions," Jasmin pointed out. "But I'll answer them both anyways. My name is Jasmin. And you're right. I'm a hybrid."

Before Cricket could open her mouth to speak, Jasmin curled up on the cold stone floor and closed her tired eyes. It had been a long day with lots of fighting and talking.

All she could do was rest and hope for the best.
