Chapter 3 : The K In Kill.

Kaeya felt his body tense up.

He put his hand on his gun as he slowly started to walk down the alleyway.

The smell got stronger as he got closer.

If someone was hurt, he needed to help them. It's his job after all.

He finally located the smell, just another the corner is where it was coming from. He hide behind the corner and took out his gun.

Calm down Kaeya.
He thought to himself as he took a deep breath.

He gripped onto his gun hard then jumped out from the corner, pointing his gun right at the person in front of him.

"Put your—!" Kaeya gasped as he saw a familiar guitar case. He foolishly went off guard.

The person turned around. Kaeya didn't expect for it to be the creep who yelled his name, Xiao, though he was covered in blood. He didn't know if he was glad or upset that it wasn't Albedo.

But he couldn't think about that now. There was a murderer right in front of him.

Unfortunately, due to his stupidness, Xiao reacted first, kicking the gun out of Kaeya's hand and pointing it at Kaeya.

Shit!
Kaeya looked around, if he ran, he would be shot, if he didn't, he'd also be shot.

Kaeya looked back to Xiao..but he wasn't there?

Kaeya looked up, he could see Xiao looking down at him from the top of a building.

Xiao smirked then ran off.

Kaeya clenched his fists together.

"Boss, it's Xiao." Xiao knocked on Albedo's office door.

Zhongli opened the door, looking down at Xiao.

"Albedo isn't here right now. Please just leave the organs in here." Zhongli moved away from the door for Xiao to come in, which he did.

Xiao took off the guitar case and placed it against Albedo's desk.

Zhongli looked down to Xiao's pant pocket.

"You shouldn't have a gun in your pocket. It's not safe." Zhongli blurted out. "I know. I had no where else to put it." Xiao replied.

"Don't you have a waist holster?" Zhongli took the gun from Xiao's pocket and examined it.

"My gun was already in there." Xiao said.

"This isn't your gun? Whose is it?" Zhongli looked at Xiao.

"..it's actually my next targets gun. While I was getting the organs he just appeared out of nowhere. I couldn't kill him because I wouldn't be able to fit two bodies in my case." Xiao sighed.

"Who is your target?" Zhongli asked. "So many questions. But it's some officer called Kaeya Alberich." Xiao crossed his arms and looked away.

Zhongli's eyes widened.

Albedo finally decided to kill him?
Zhongli smirked down at the gun, but he felt a little worried. This wasn't like Albedo. But Albedo had changed a lot ever since he lost contact with Kaeya.
