'Andrei's' eyepatch had made it even harder to see with that mask on.
Okay Kaeya, let's think. Where would you put your office if you were a Fatui leader?
Kaeya (previously Andrei) thought long and hard.
Perhaps the top floor? Or maybe not. I don't wanna risk getting my identity revealed so I better not speak to anyone else.
Kaeya sighed before turning the sink and splashing his face with the cool water.
"I'll just have to look some more. It has to be somewhere." Kaeya mumbled some curses under his breath before putting his mask back on.
There were so many floors, it was like an endless loop each time he took a turn. He wanted to just go home and rest, which is what he was going to do before he heard a quiet voice coming from inside one of the rooms.
He jerked his head towards the door with the anonymous voice was coming from. It was opened slightly. The voice wasn't familiar, so it would be better if Kaeya just left it alone...but Kaeya felt nosey and peeked through the gap, trying his very best to stay well hidden.
Wait...
Kaeya felt the shock stab him in the chest, his eyes grew wide at the sight of Albedo—and some other guy.

"Sorry for earlier. I don't know what came over me."
"It's fine. Let's just forget about it. Alright?"
"Yeah, I think that's best."

Their conversation seemed stale and awkward. But Kaeya wondered what they wanted to forget about. His blood boiled while thinking only the worst.

"...I apologize if I embarrassed you in front of Pantalone."
"We agreed to forget about it. That means no conversations relating to the situation you had put me in a few moments ago."
"Right. My bad."

Kaeya just couldn't take it any longer. Whoever this guy was, Kaeya hated him. He wanted to walk in there and punch in right in the fucking nose.
His anger must've taken over him because he suddenly found himself standing inside Albedo's office with the guy and Albedo staring at him like he had three eyes.
The embarrassment then flooded over him.
I'm an idiot.
Kaeya cleared his throat. "Albedo I—" "You address me as Mr. Kreideprinz, have you forgotten?" Kaeya felt his cheeks get warm under his mask, hearing Albedo sound so assertive was kind of...—No, no, he had to focus. How could he get out of this situation? He did want to talk to Albedo, but not with this guy here!
"Are you just going to stand there like an idiot?" Shit, how could Kaeya focus when Albedo was talking to him like that? Kaeya shook his head like that would help the awful thoughts go away, he then looked back at Albedo and began to speak. "Could I speak to you for a moment? In private preferably."
The surprised reaction that came from Albedo's face informed Kaeya that he recognized his voice. What shocked him tho was that that surprise soon turned into anger.
"Of fucking course. Come with me." Albedo teethed as he clutched onto Kaeya's sleeve and pulled him out of his office.
