Pantalone was recruited to the Fatui when he only was 16. Before that, he lived a poor, low status family; barely making enough money for their rent.

Sadly, his mother and father died in a house fire from some gang that his parents were in debt with. His twin brother ran away to fuck knows where soon after.

Pantalone considered his parents dying to be the best thing that's ever happened to him...because he got to join the Fatui and become wealthy.

Pierro recruited Pantalone, even though he's only ever seen Pierro at major meetings  and sometimes funerals—he admired him.

I wonder how Pierro would act if he found out that we are going bankrupt...
Pantalone groaned and gripped his hair before letting go and slamming his fist on his desk table.

The sudden knock on his door startled him a little, "Come in." He called out, his arms crossed.

Dottore opened the door to reveal himself, Pantalone was anything but happy happy to see him. He let out a 'tch' as he turned his head away.

"What do you want?" Pantalone muttered. "Zhongli wants you. I told him about the money problem." Dottore had a slight revengeful look in his eyes as he started getting closer and closer to Pantalone before stopping right in front of him.

"Zhongli?" Pantalone scoffed as he whipped his head towards Dottore, meeting eye to eye.

"Mr. Kreideprinz wasn't available." Dottore's sideways smirk showed his sharp teeth, Pantalone always wondered if they were natural.

Pantalone grit his teeth "You're such a dick." He said as he pushed Dottore out of the way, making his to the door.

What stopped him at the doorway was Dottore calling out; "Be careful!" Dottore laughed at himself. Pantalone hissed before leaving.

That bitch. I should've never let it slip! If I get fired because of him then I'm gonna kill him.
Pantalone reached Zhong—er, Mr. Kreidezprinz office, he entered without knocking.

"Pantalone? That was rather fast." Zhongli was standing there waiting for him.

"Yeah," Pantalone tried to cool down a bit before talking more, "Dottore said you needed to talk to me?" He finished.

"Yes, I'm assuming you know about this money issue?" Zhongli's voice was covered by a cold tone. Pantalone couldn't deny that he felt a little uncomfortable. "Yes. I'm sorry I haven't told anyone sooner, I thought I could fix it." Pantalone admitted, not letting his eyes leave Zhongli's.

"It's not your fault." Zhongli smiled, but it was so obviously fake—which sort of got on Pantalone's nerves.

"You know the drug lords me and the boss visited?" Zhongli asked, "Yes, of course, I was the one who set up the arrangement." Pantalone nodded.

"Well, it turns out that they've made quite a few enemies...AKA, all our allies. That's why you can't get anymore trades with anyone." Zhongli pulled out a file from Albedo's drawer (that he probably wasn't suppose to be in) and flipped through it, eventually landing on one slip of paper and handing it to Pantalone for him to look at it.

Pantalone gave Zhongli a quick glance for taking it, surely they couldn't have pissed off that many people.

Pantalone read it slowly.

Enemies : Arataki Gang, Adepti, Knights of Favonious, [along with more the author doesn't wanna make up]

Pantalone eyes widened more and more each time he read every organization...there had to be more then fifty!

"How..." Pantalone pushed his hair back as he looked up at Zhongli in distress.

"No idea, and they only just started exporting drugs to other organizations a few months ago." Zhongli leaned up against the desk.

"We need to cut all ties with them quickly, before—" Zhongli cut him off, "We can't. They have a one year contract with us."

"Maybe we should ask Mr. Kreidezprinz about this..." Pantalone began to pace back and fourth while thinking.

"Mr. Kreidezprinz isn't very...stable right now." Zhongli rubbed the back of his head as he rewinded his mind to play the scene that happened earlier that day.

Pantalone sighed, "We can't go bankrupt."

"Obviously." Zhongli said.

"Should we have a meeting with the 'Harbingers' to discuss what we should do?" Pantalone turned to Zhongli, looking desperate. Zhongli shook his head, "Most of them aren't in the country right now. I think it'd be best not to tell Mr. Kreidezprinz about this for now. Now that I know, I'm sure it'll be easy to resolve." It felt like Zhongli was praising himself.

Cocky bastard. If I couldn't resolve this then you certainly can't. What do you know about money anyway? Weren't you always leaching off that little ginger before he died?
Pantalone looked away but he agreed.
