Pantalone put a hand on his gun, walking slowly towards his desk.
"The fuck do you just say to me?" A female Fatui member's voice echoed through the halls.
Pantalone jerked his head to the noise.
"You little brat I'm gonna kill you!"
Pantalone sighed, they went a good month without any of the Fatui members fighting with each other (well, he didn't count his and Dottore's little argument).
Pantalone went out to go see what was going on, forgetting about the desk.
The man getting yelled at stammered as he spoke, "I didn't mean for anything to come off as offensive, I'm very sorry." it was a genuine apology, strange for a Fatui member.
"What is going on?" Pantalone put a hand on his hip as he scolded the two members.
"Andrei decided it'd be a great day for a funeral." She flipped her knife out and held it against, who Pantalone guessed, was Andrei. Andrei let out a small whimper when he felt the cold metal on his skin.
"For the love of..." Pantalone massaged the bridge of his nose, "What did he say?"
"This bastard called me weak. But this will change his mind!" She pressed the knife deeper into his neck, breaking the skin. But just before it could get too bad, Pantalone grabbed her wrist and gave her a death glare.
She clenched her jaw and drew her eyebrows downward in anger, she scoffed before pulling the knife away.
"You're all so immature," Pantalone muttered. He then glanced over to Andrei, "Come on, I'll help you with your neck." Pantalone turned to go back to his office, and Andrei followed close behind him.
Pantalone pulled a chair over, "Sit down," he said in a demanding voice that made it impossible for Andrei to disobey.
As Pantalone began to search for a first aid kit, he began speaking; "So, did you really call her weak?"
"No. She just took it the wrong way. I didn't mean to make her upset." Andrei mumbled. Pantalone shook his head in disapproval.
Pantalone returned to Andrei with a med kit in hand, he placed it down on his desk and clicked it open.
"You're cut isn't that deep, you should be glad I stopped her before she slit your throat," Pantalone said as he grabbed some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball out of the med kit.
"I could've handled it, not the first time I've had a knife held against my throat by one of your members," Andrei whispered at the end.
Pantalone paused for a minute, "What?"
Andrei's eyes widened, he looked over to Pantalone who had his back turned to him, and nervously said, "Oh, nothing."
"Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen you around here. Even though almost everyone here wears a mask to cover their identity, I'm very good at remembering voices. And yours...is not one I can recall." Pantalone squirted some of the rubbing alcohol onto the puffy ball.
Andrei got shivers throughout his body, but before he could say anything; Pantalone came up with an excuse for him, "Are you a new recruit?"
"Yes, I joined just yesterday so that's probably the reason you don't recognize my voice." Andrei rubbed the back of his head.
"Ah, that makes sense." Pantalone turned and walked over to Andrei, standing in front of him he looked more than intimidating to Andrei.
He then kneeled to be at the height of Andrei's neck. When he was like this, he looked a lot softer.
"This might sting a little." Pantalone dabbed the wound with the cotton. Andrei winced, a soft hissing sound escaping through his teeth.
"There. All clean." Pantalone stood up, returning to his intimidating form. He walked back to the first aid kit and grabbed a small band-aid.
"You don't need my help to put this on." Pantalone looked over his shoulder to Andrei. Andrei got up and grabbed the band-aid, putting it on perfectly on the cut.
"Thank you. You're rather kind for a Fatui member." Andrei blurted. Shit, he probably shouldn't have said that.
But, unexpectedly, Pantalone laughed. "You're mind will change once you spend a little more time here." Pantalone curved a small smile on his rosy lips.
Andrei smiled back, then suddenly remembered— "Oh, could I ask you something?" He asked.
"Yes, anything," Pantalone replied.
"Do you know where Albedo's office is?" Andrei seemed so innocent when he asked that. Pantalone's smile faded.
"Albedo?" Pantalone brows forward like he was trying to figure something out. "Do you not know? He's your boss so I'd assume—"
"Who are you?"
