Kazuha was outside of Kaeya's motel room...god this place was starting to look more run down each day.

Kazuha raised his fist and knocked. "Mr. Alberich? It's Kazuha." Kazuha said so his voice could be heard through the door.

There was no response, which was a bit concerning. Kazuha knocked again. "Mr. Alberich?" He called out.

"I'm coming," Said a voice from inside, it was Kaeya. He unlocked the door and looked at Kazuha. His eyes looked tired and his hair was messy. "Mr. Alberich...are you sick?" Kazuha reached a hand out to him but quickly retreated.

"I'm great," Kaeya's tone lightened up a little and he smiled to show he was fine but it was so painfully clear it was all an act. But Kazuha didn't have time to comfort Kaeya. "I have something important to discuss with you," Kazuha gave him a stern look that showed he wouldn't let Kaeya refuse it.

Kaeya knew what he wanted to talk about, he wanted to shut the door but he knew he couldn't. "Of course." He agreed, moving out of the way for Kazuha to come in, which he did.

"What is it you want to talk about Kazuha?" Kaeya shut the door behind him. "You already know." Kazuha leaned up against Kaeya's couch. Kaeya's smile faded, "I do."

Kazuha picked a paper from Fatui's file. "Albedo Kreideprinz, the leader of the Fatui." Kaeya stared at the paper, especially the picture of Albedo in the corner of it. His expression did not change. "Or I assume he is I should say," Kazuha chuckled a little.

Kazuha went serious again, he put the paper back into the file and then pulled out Zhongli's paper. "Do you know of a man named Zhongli?" Kazuha raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," Kaeya answered. A smirk curved onto Kazuha's face, "Really?" Kazuha looked up from the paper to look at Kaeya. "He's the assistant to the leader of the Fatui." Kaeya looked dead at Kazuha, he didn't hesitate one bit as he spoke the truth.

"Go on,"

Kaeya spilled almost everything he knew about the Fatui to Kazuha, his voice not faltering the entire time. He didn't want to keep these secrets on his shoulders anymore, Albedo was right about him betraying his city. He didn't want to be a traitor to his city.

Kaeya even talked about Nikolai and how he and Albedo first met. About the mall, about the guitar case, everything. Almost.

Kazuha's smirk widened at every detail Kaeya told him. He honestly thought convincing him would be harder...but no! Kaeya was willing to tell him almost everything!

"That's.." Kaeya let out a sigh, "Everything I know." Kaeya's hands were in fists by his sides as if he was holding back from regretting his decision to tell Kazuha this.

"That's not all," Kazuha walked over to Kaeya and pulled him down to his height, their noses almost touching. "You missing two very important details," Kazuha spoke in a haunting tone that sent shivers down Kaeya's back. "And what would those be?"

"The location of their headquarters," Kazuha's eyes narrowed as he smiled more. Kazuha stared into Kazuha's eyes, this was the first time he hesitated in this interaction.

"I'll bring you there." Kaeya looked away. "Good enough." Kazuha let go of Kaeya's collar. "One more thing," Kazuha started, "The leader of the Fatui...who is it?"

Kaeya's brain was screaming at him to not say, but his heart was set on it. On becoming a better cop and a better person...but not even his heart could say the name out loud.

"It seems you already know who."
