Kazuha looked down at the address Ayato had gave him while walking to that exact location.
Only 10 minutes have passed before he arrived.
Looks like someone doesn't get paid enough.
Kazuha thought while looking at the motel.
Couldn't even afford a nice motel.
He tried not to judge too much, but come on! A shitty motel?
Kazuha walked up the stairs slowly, creaking like they would collapse at any given moment.
Kazuha knocked on the door, no response.
He knocked again, no response.
"Hello? This is Kaedehara Kazuha, I'm a detective and—" the door suddenly opened, revealing Kaeya with a stern look and Leo rubbing up against his owners legs.
Kazuha looked at Kaeya, then at the cat. It was hard to be intimidated when there was an orange cat rubbing up against their legs.
Kazuha looked back up at Kaeya and cleared his throat.
"I'm—" "I know. You already yelled that. Did Ayato tell you where I live?" Kaeya cut him off.
"Yes, but that's not—" "Leave." Kaeya was about to slam the door, but Kazuha blocked it from closing with his foot.
Kaeya looked up at him, stern look breaking. He expected Kazuha to be hurt but he didn't even wince at the pain!
"I'd like to ask you a few questions about the Fatui case."
Kazuha sat down on the couch while Kaeya sat across from him on a chair, matching the same blue color as the couch.
Kinda glad Albedo cleaned this place before Kazuha came.
Kaeya thought to himself.
"First question," Kazuha began, snapping Kaeya out of thought.
"Did you see what the murderer was wearing?" Kazuha asked, staring intensely at Kaeya.
Kaeya thought for a minute.
Saying what he was wearing wouldn't hurt anyone..
Kaeya nodded.
"He was wearing—.." Kaeya paused. What was he wearing? The only thing he could remember was the guitar case on his back, the rest was a blur.
"Hm?" Kazuha raised an eyebrow, "I don't remember. I only remember he was wearing a base guitar case." Kaeya said.
"And what did he look like?" Kazuha asked again, Kaeya realized that he wasn't even writing this information down...was he just remembering it all?
"He had dark green hair...and looked pretty young." Kaeya tried as hard as he could to remember some more details.
Kazuha sighed, knowing Kaeya was barely any help.
"That's kinda all I remember.." Kaeya laughed awkwardly, Kazuha just shook his head disappointedly and stood up.
"If you have any more information come to mind, please call Mr. Kamisato. He'll let me know." Kazuha said as his goodbye.
