"I cannot believe this. I can't. Tony she was the one who covered for Bucky and I in the 40's. Why? How? This just....fuck now this cannot be right." I tell him.
"Steve I have literally ran 4 different DNA tests. It comes to her every single time." He tells me.
"How is this even possible? How is she not old or dead?!" I say.
Before he could answer, Fury walks in.
"Because she received a super soldier serum from none other than Howard Stark." Fury says.
"Uhh excuse me?" Tony says.
"Tony let me ask you, with your father, what was he always doing?" Fury asked him.
"Working in his lab. It pissed my mother off to no end but she never fought him on it and I never understood why." He replies back.
"If I was a betting man, I would have to guess if Peggy joining and taking over hydra, she must have been forcing your father into making the serums. I question now if he went into hiding because he was trying to start a family, or already had one and was trying to protect it from hydra. However, hydra ended up winning. Did Peggy ever seem weird to you when she came over to the house?" Fury asked.
"Now that I think about it, sort of. Her and Dad would always get into it. She'd storm out and he would shut down almost in a panic. All this time? She has been behind it all this time? But why?" Tony asks.
"I think it is because of me." I state.
"What do you mean Cap?" Sam says.
"In the 40's during training camp, Peggy took a liking to me. I thought she was beautiful but clearly wasn't my type of brunette. She kept flirting and all that but I never really responded to it. Thinking back it all makes sense when she found out about Bucky and I although she stated she'd support us, her face didn't show it. So I am wondering if all of this is because I basically rejected her and she is out for ruin my life and hurt my one true love and those I was friends with." I say running my hand down my face in frustration.
"That is a possibility." Tony says. I get up and walk out heading to Gemma. I need some answers.
When I get to the living room, I see them sitting there watching a movie.
"Hey kids, we need to talk." I say to all three of them.
"What's up dad?" Pietro asks.
"Pietro and Wanda, did either of you interact with Queen Hydra at all?" I asked.
"No, we just took orders from her minions but it was always about destroying you or the Avengers." Wanda says.
"Gemma, I know she is your mother, what has she said or done to you?" I asked softly.
"She hated you. Anytime your name was mentioned she was mean and really hated when I refused to believe you were mean. All I ever heard was bad things about you and how much she hated you for not picking her over papa." Gemma whispers tearing up.
