Time skip
After months of tracking and planning, it has finally reached the day, all of HYDRA will be destroyed.
Bucky and I are finishing getting our gear strapped onto us. I look over at him and see he is lost in thought.
"You ready for this?" I asked softly.
"Yes. I have waited for this day for so long. It is finally here." He says.
"I know baby. And once it is finished, we can do whatever we want." I tell him.
He smiles at me and we head off towards the jet.
"Alright everyone, today is a big day. You know your teams, your routes, and overall mission. HYDRA ends today." I tell everyone while I am in captain mode.
Sam and Bucky were together, while I was with Wanda. We were all connected in our coms even though we would be in different locations. It was important that we all stick together in this, incase one team finishes and can get there for backup.
Strange and Wong were on stand by to make portals for team members to get to each other faster if needed.
It wasn't long before agents started coming out left and right attacking us. It's time to send HYDRA to hell.
Batroc comes out of nowhere and kicks me. The former is faring surprisingly well against me, or maybe it is because my serum isn't 100% anymore.
"I thought that you were more than just a shield Captain. Come on, I know you can do better than this. Especially when it comes to your precious Bucky." He says pissing me off.
I throw shield on his back and takes off my mask.
"Let's see. I am much more than the shield. And you are right, when it comes to protecting and saving Bucky, I am not a nice guy anymore." I say with a smirk.
We start engaging in hand to hand combat again. I quickly turn the tide in my favor. I move quickly and kick Batroc in the right leg, the stomach, and then to finish him off I flip into a downwards somersault kick to the face, knocking him down.
I don't even waist another second before pulling my gun out and shooting him. It may seem harsh but I am not taking any more chances on HYDRA coming back for my man.
I start to move forward when suddenly I stumble feeling like I cannot breathe. I grab my chest and take a deep breath.
"Steve, are you okay?" Wanda says rushing over as bullets were still flying towards us.
"C-c-can't b-b-bre-breathe" I stutter out soon going into a panic.
"BUCKY! STEVE NEEDS YOU. HE CANNOT BREATHE" Wanda yells into the coms. She lets out a huge magic blast killing everyone in here except the two of us.

Being back here makes me nervous. I try to put on a neutral face to hide my fear, but I really hate HYDRA. They only good thing they did for me was reunite me with Steve.
Once they are burned to the ground, I am taking him somewhere just the two of us.
Sam and I begin walking through the dark hallways, staying alert for agents to pop out at any time.
As if thinking causes them to appear, agents start shooting at us. It is a fucking mad house in here.
While I am fighting I hear Wanda yelling into the coms.
"BUCKY! STEVE NEEDS YOU. HE CANNOT BREATHE"
"WHAT?!" I scream back. I quickly pick up my pace shooting down all of these agents and try to finish this base off.
"STEPHAN STRANGE OPEN A DAMN PORTAL FOR ME NOW!" I scream.
Soon an orange ring opens up. I run through it straight to Steve.
"Wanda go help Sam finish up I got this." I tell her.
I get down on Steve's level. "Hey, look at me okay. I am here doll." I tell him.
I reach into my pocket and pull out his inhaler. I shake it and place it at his lips.
"Come on doll, I need you to inhale for me. I got you doll, just work with me." I keep assuring him.
Once he finally calmed down I helped him stand back up. The portal soon opened again and it was Wanda.
"You doing okay now?" She asked Steve.
He just nodded his head not trusting his voice. I kept my arm wrapped around him securely.
"You both go ahead through, I am gonna collapse the building." She says.
As Steve and I walk through the portal, we end up back at the compound where everyone else has returned.
"Is that it? Is that everyone?" Tony asked.
"Yes I believe it is. Good job you guys. You did it! And James Rogers-Barnes and special congratulations to you on finally being free." Fury says clapping me on the back.
My throat starts to tighten up as Steve hugs me tighter. Everyone went their separate ways clean up before we decided to head out for a celebratory dinner.
When Steve and I got into our room, we headed straight to the shower. We helped each other out of our gear just throwing it on the ground for right now, simply needing to feel one another.
Once we got into the shower and rinsed off, Steve pulled me into his arms and I just crumbled. My knees buckled sending me down and we were soon sitting on the shower floor as I sobbed into his chest.
"Shh baby. It's over. They are finally gone. No one will ever hurt or use you again. You are free baby. You are finally free." Steve whispers in my ear.
I continue crying into him letting all of the pain out. The pain from the beatings, the torture, the longing to get out of that hell hole, crying the pain for my old self and who I used to be. But now, I am a new person. I have my husband, three kids, and friends that are helping everyday heal from what HYDRA caused.
But in the end, they were the ones to fully break and die out. Not me.
