A phone rang.
Once, twice, three times.
"Hello, Joey Drew Studios, can I help you?"
"Hi, this is the IRS."
Grant hung up. The phone rang again. He didn't respond.
The next morning, Grant woke up to a ringing sound coming from his office desk. No, not the desk, the phone on the desk. He must have passed out at work, shoot.
With bleary eyes, he picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"Hi, this is the IRS," the peppy voice replied in turn.
Now normanly Grant would freak out, but he just woke up.
"It's... 5AM, how are you so energetic?"
The silence on the other line told him that they were taken aback.
"I can call at a later time."
They hung up.
Next it was near closing time, and the horn rung.
"Hello, Joey Drew Studio, how may I help you?"
"Listen up, this is the IRS."
Grant hung up.
To this day, Grant is still hanging up whenever the IRS calls.
