Father-Son Resolve

Furn's pov

"What about you Furn? What 'grand' adventure have you been in?" Paul questioned, looking up at me. 

"Do you want the truth or the sugarcoated aspect of what I've been through? Either way, I'll give you the truth." 

Paul looked away for a moment then looked back at me. His face drowned in booze showed what he was thinking and what he wants is the truth. "Give me the truth Furn."

"Alright. Well to begin with, after I got teleported I was dragged by 2 sand people, Gen and Darel, the 2 sand people. After arriving at their village I met with their Elder. After about a year, I trained and gained new abilities. Then once my training stooped, I had Gen and Darel come with me to start traveling to find Ru. We stopped in a town named the 'Labyrinth Town', I met a Reaper there, and a Torn though that wasn't a Torn it was a Reaper." 

'Just summarizing the events that led me here is giving me shivers. Thanatos was a strong being to go up against but I have no idea whether he is weaker compared to the others that will come.'

"I died when facing him: the Reaper. But as you can see, I'm alive and well. And the rest is history." 

Finishing my story, Paul and Ru were looking at me with sadness and anger. I can assume why but that happened in the past, there's no point in regrets if time is going to knock you over.

"Leave," Paul muttered.

"Huh?" I looked at Paul, his face was down and his hands shaking.

"I SAID LEAVE!" Paul repeated in a fractured voice. 

"I understand..." I walked toward the door, grabbing Ru by the shoulder to make our way out of the room. 

"Woah, hey, hey!" Ru protested.

"Let's leave him be. We're going to your room, I have no place to stay for the moment so give me the directions." 

(A few minutes later)

"This the place?" I asked Ru. 

"Yep. Oh, and there are only 2 beds in the room." Ru said somewhat angrily. 

I raised my eyebrow, looking at Ru. With a sigh, I opened the door of the room. "I swear if I find out that you've been--!"

"Master!" As I opened the door a red-haired person tackled me to the floor. 

"Ow. It's nice to see you too, Eris." I patted her head and back. "Now if you would let me get back up." 

"Oh, right. Sorry." Eris quickly got off of me. Though she looked away for some reason, her face did turn red when she did that. Maybe she's sick or something? 

Picking myself up and dusting off my cloak, I looked at Ru. "I thought there were 4 of you guys? Where are the other 2?"

"Well, Ruijerd is somewhere, Eris would know he was with her for the day. As for the other guy, we parted ways." Ru replied.

"I see." I looked around the room.

"S-so uh... how did you end up here?" Eris asked me.

"Simple, I sliced reality to get here. Then I found Ru and father." I replied

"Ah, I almost forgot about that." Ru looked away, scratching the back of his head. 

Slapping the back Ru's back I forced him out of depression. "Cheer up, will you? Let's just forget today happened."

"Yeah... You're right. I'll go asleep first." Ru walked over to what I assumed is his part of the bed, covering himself with the blanket like a caterpillar.
