"Give us 3 reasons why we shouldn't kill you?" I menacingly asked the egg as I and Ru glared at the egg.
"Eek...! N-no matter. You can't do anything to me!" The egg responded.
Ru glares at the egg harder and points his hand at the egg. "What makes you so sure about that? Your majesty?"
The egg only laughed in response and explained the situation. "Because magic is nulled at your end! Any and all forms of magic are specially cut off from the source by force and if you try to cast any magic. . . Will try it for yourselves."
"With pleasure. Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu".
Whipping out the hand signs for the signature Uchiha Jutsu, I inhaled and exhaled the air in my mouth and blew it in the finalized sign. The result for all of that is unexpected. The fireball never came to be but that makes sense. Chakra is magic only in its spiritual form and not in its physical form which manifests the jutsu to be effective. Magic on the other hand is condensed spiritual energy that it manifests itself to be effective.
Chakra without both the spirit and physical energy, any hand sign used is practically useless. But I do have my divine rules... It is not logical to use it for a trivial mess such as this.
"See! What did I tell you?! It's useless! Now have fun being held down there while Roxy comes!" The egg half-shouted while backing away slowly from the hole. "Oh. And take this."
With a thud, Lilia was shoved here by the egg's guards. With a muffled Lilia who is angry and afraid of the altercation that just ended, muffled at us.
"Oh right..." Ru kneeled at Lilia's face and lowered the rag from her mouth.
With a gasp, Lilia cleared her throat and talked to us. "Master Rudeus, master Furn-!".
"Calm down, Lilia. It's alright." Ru assured her. "I'm sure my party will notice that I'm gone once the day is over."
"We'll see about that. Eris will probably make it take a week or so." I muttered.
"That is good. I am happy to see you two after 5 years the two of you have grown. I am sure Zenith would be proud." Lilia smiled and patted our heads.
"T-thanks..." Turning my head trying to hide my semi-blushed face. "Besides that, how have things been with you up until now?"
