DIO kneels behind a sole man whose features are average but that is a disguise for his power and control over one aspect that makes him one of, if not, the strongest Monarch God since their existence in eons.
This man is none other than Maker, the Monarch God of Time and Space.
Without looking behind, Maker hums to acknowledge DIO's presence. Tendering to his collection of books from the past, present, and future and of other timelines to enjoy his 'pastime'; reading.
Closing the book in his hand and putting it back in its place on the comically large bookshelf. Maker chooses another book to read while DIO is there to report his little mission. "Tell me, how did it go?"
DIO clears his throat and starts his report, "As you told me to do, I erased the timeline where he killed Orstead and rewound it to before their encounter. After multiple interruptions, it seemed he did do what is supposed to happen albeit a little differently."
"Good. And of the truth?"
"That... Admittedly, it slipped my mind. Time is a delicate concept so I didn't tell him." DIO stated.
"I see." Maker turned a page. "Well, that doesn't matter. He'll learn in due time."
"Maker-sama... If I may?" DIO receives a hum in response. "Why are you intervening? It wouldn't sense for you- who maintains a neutral stance on these things to step in. I mean, I can get why you keep a close eye on Rudeus and Estalle but Furn?"
"Silence" Maker exerted pressure onto DIO. "You are in no position to say what you said. What I do is merely a benefit for me and to mitigate what Kyosei did. Nothing more, nothing less."
"Now I'm sure you didn't come here for the report and for that dialogue. So tell me, what are you really here for?" Maker pushed his glasses up and continued reading.
DIO feels the pressure lessens but is still persistent on him. Breathing for a moment, he tells Maker: "Why couldn't you just rewind time to stop this mess? Hell, even erase Furn and Kyosei for this abdominal mess?"
Maker closes the book in his hands and turns to meet DIO's face. "If you want to know, then you'll have to kill me. Even if I were to tell you my reasoning it would be too much for you to comprehend. Such truths are meant to be kept hidden for a more logical one for you."
"So tell me DIO, among all the other aides in my realm, do you have the power, the mind, and the resolve for such an altercation? If so, come and try." Maker once again exerted pressure on DIO changing the room of books to a battlefield.
DIO started to sweat. He can't compete against a god! Not now or never, just what is the truth here that like Furn's eventual knowing of his own truth be similar to the truth Maker-sama is hiding from DIO? Sure DIO is just one man among hundreds of other time-space users and yet he wants to know the reason?
"Pathetic." Maker frowned. Changing the battlefield to the book room. "I thought that you would have some backbone in wanting something yet here we are, a shell of your former self. Really, it's pathetic."
"Now get out." Maker snapped his fingers and wrapped space around DIO to place him in another location.
*pop*
"Ah, I see you did it again." A feminine voice reached DIO's ears. "Still as idiotic I see."
A woman, the same height as DIO looks at him. Her cyan hair and blue eyes stare in pity and amusement at the former self-proclaimed god.
"Oh shut it, women." DIO glared. "It's just stupid why Maker-sama would do this! It's stupid!"
"I couldn't care less about what master does, thinks, or says. We're all servants of his until the All-father appoints a new one in his stead." The woman stated. "Just be glad you weren't erased the second you started being a brat when you arrived here."
DIO gritted his teeth. He hates how this woman, of all people, dares speak to him like that. If he had just as much power as the others, he would've made this woman beg on her knees. But that wasn't the case, that is just his imagination. Right now he's in reality, dealing with the bane of his existence... next to Jotaro of course.
"Fuck you," DIO whispered out.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that for your safety." The woman eye-rolls. "Anyway, I'll be leaving have fun doing whatever master tells you to do."
The woman waves as she walks away from DIO with a smile on her face.
"Oh and by the way, it's Fina. Not women you asshole."
