Morgan woke late in the afternoon the following day, her mink detachable eyelash flopping from her right eyelid each time she blinked. She tore the wretched thing from her eye then rolled on her side to look at the time.
"Shit! I'm going to miss my flight" Morgan exclaimed as she saw the digital clock reflect 3:41 pm. She didn't even know why she had slept that long, it wasn't as if she got drunk from yesterday's revelling nor was she tired. Damn lazy, that's what it was. She dashed from the bed and to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Now she didn't even know why she was rushing to get to the airport, it's not like her own jet could leave without her. She rolled her eyes at how she was acting. But as she washed her thick hair, a smile crept unto her lips as she realised why she was being such a worry wart, Tarek. Her stomach instantly filled with butterflies thinking about her boyfriend, she was falling for him. He was the one. The one for her and she couldn't wait to see him, to taste him again.
The minute he entered her mind in the shower, he never left it as she dried her hair letting it reign free, got dressed and settled her and her friends bills at the hotel's front desk. Morgan knew Taylor and Robyn had been wiped out from yesterday's frolicking, especially with those hunks of muscle they danced with all night. She could still hear all the noise they created next door to her suite from earlier when they came back. Nearly woke up the whole bloody hotel with their drunken moans and laughter. She didn't mind it though because where she was from, those sounds were pretty normal, like birds chirping in a tree. She was glad they flew to the island to have fun with her, at least now she wouldn't see them for a while until they texted again asking when's their next girls trip.
Her driver was already waiting when she exited the beautiful hotel, it's grandeur would be forever etched into her memory. "To the airport Jefferson." she greeted and with a slight bow, "Certainly Madam" he replied. Morgan liked Jeff, he was an older man appointed by her grandmother, with grey hair coming in at the sides of his head. Always so quiet but eyes always observing, searching for any danger that may come to harm her. She didn't need an army to protect her because Jeff was as lethal as he was quiet. He was tall, not as muscular as other security guards but he was fast as lightning, you would never see him coming. She relaxed in her seat and took out her phone to text Robyn and Taylor that she had already left and that the bill was settled. She had a good relationship with the hotel's owner so her and her party could come and go as they pleased.
Tarek she thought again and here was the cheesy smile that came with thinking about him. Is this what love felt like? Getting a stupid grin when thinking about your man? At 26, she didn't truly know as she was hellbent on making a name for herself on Earth when she was younger, proving that there was good in her and that she didn't need to be apart of their world because she was better than them. Tarek was like her, also from her world but he also had something to prove and Earth is where these two lost souls met. He studied to be a chef in Paris and outdid himself while there, the most orgasmic food one could ever eat, he was hired on spot to be a private chef for a top celebrity.
He wanted to branch out on his own after working for 5 years and now owns his own restaurants which are critically acclaimed. Her man had it going on and she couldn't wait to get home and surprise him. She hadn't seen him for two months because of all the projects she had happening. Morgan wanted to tell him of an idea she had for him to launch his own line of cookware and she was ready to help him plan everything. She wanted them to have a future together.
She leaned her head against the window not really looking at anything, random thoughts and appointments boggling her mind when she felt an intense cold shiver out of nowhere. Her body trembled a little then regulated, "What the hell was that?" she muttered to herself and held her hand to the car's air vent to see if the AC was turned up which it wasn't. "We're here Madam." Jeff said which brought Morgan out of her confusion and back to reality. She started to feel little excitement as she saw her sky blue jet, also courtesy of her grandmother, just waiting for her, she would fly back to the US quickly to see her boyfriend.
The Range Rover came to a halt and as Jefferson got out to open her door she shouted "It's ok Jeff, I've got it." He just went for her suitcase that was in the trunk instead. Another man in her employ came to drive her car away as she and Jeff entered the aircraft. Greeted by the pilot and the air hostess, she let them know she was ready to take off now.
Putting her luggage away, Jeff took two seats behind her as she put on seatbelt then her headphones, she couldn't turn on her ASMR yet but she sure as hell was looking forward to it when the plane was level. Four hours into the flight, she awoke from her slumber as her ASMRist was still whispering in her ear that made her spine tingle. The air hostess stopped to ask if she wanted anything to eat or drink which she just requested some apple juice and crackers. She wasn't feeling hungry, maybe because she couldn't wait to get home.
After eating, she was told the plane would land soon and with each time the plane descends, she grew more excited until finally they had touchdown. Granting farewells to her staff, Morgan exited the jet with Jeff silently following her and into an Audi that was waiting on the tarmac, Jefferson taking the helm. She was homeward bound and she had never felt happier.
