Roman had no regret in his eyes when he looked at Morgan, in fact he gave her a smirk which sent a clear message about where they stood.

"Oh, hi Morgan! What happened to you?" Eva's question broke the glare Morgan had on Roman.

Eva was always pleasant towards Morgan for an unknown reason, maybe she had just liked her. The princess could hardly find a bad thing to say about the brown haired beauty except to maybe to ease up on the botox and butt lifts lest she looked like an iron Barbie. However, before Morgan could reply to Eva, Roman pulled her along with him to exit the elevator. His intoxicating scent almost knocking Morgan to the ground and prompting her body to roar to life. Morgan had to shut it down quickly, this wasn't the time to feel such things. Roman was the bane of her existence, a constant reminder of what she could never have.

The green monster around her neck squeezed tighter as it held her in a death grip. It's like time had slowed down significantly as the pair passed her, heading towards an awaiting vehicle and Morgan never took her eyes of them, elevator be damned. Roman's had slipped from Eva's waist to plant firmly on her fake bottom which he squeezed. The ringing in Morgan's ear had skyrocketed to a point where she could no longer hear anything, she felt every beat of her heart pounding in her head. It was like a hammer being swung repeatedly against her cranium while she was being suffocated by her jealousy. The bastard was actually chivalrous as he opened the car door for Eva and ushered her inside. Anger and hurt danced in unison inside her heart.

Morgan made a brief, tight fist and suddenly everything fragile; glass chandeliers, ceramics began shattering sending pieces flying everywhere. The screams of the residents and visitors made Morgan blink twice and realized what was happening. The doorman jumped out of way as the thick glass windows and door smashed to smithereens lodging into people's eyes and other body parts. The whole foyer seemed to be coming undone and Morgan suddenly realized she was the cause of it all. The commotion hadn't stopped Roman from entering his car and driving away with a woman who should have been her. A mother shielding her child from the falling glass prompted Morgan to press the button for the elevator and dashed into the box which luckily was still on the ground floor. She touched the button for the penthouse and waited for the elevation to lift. What was she doing? Why had she reacted in such a manner?

Morgan fell to the floor as an unimaginable pain brought her to her knees. This was nothing like her mating call, this was something much terrible.

"Ahhh!" she's screamed as the felt movement under her skin.

Morgan, with wide terrified eyes, looked at her hands saw that it was actually moving. It was like worms, no worms were too small, slugs maybe all converging toward her chest. Morgan lifted her T-shirt and saw the same eery movements on her belly, through her tights and on her arms, all leading to where her heart was.

"What the fuck is happening to me?!" Morgan asked out loud.

There was something inside her, and she had to get it out now and so she began clawing at her skin, drawing blood in the process. Was she going crazy? Was someone doing this to her? Fuck! Her head was spinning with questions and she needed answers. She had to get out of here, she had to see a doctor. The ding of the elevator alerted Morgan that she had reached her floor. She slowly rose to her feet, grateful that no one was in the lift with her then picked up her bag that fell to the floor. She was so tired and out of it that she just wanted to be placed in a dark room and left for a few days. For someone who thrived in the light, lately she was craving darkness even more and more. Something had definitely changed.

The movement under her skin stopped instantly and Morgan could breathe again, like the chokehold was gone. She put in the code for her door and entered her home. The audible gasp from her sister at Morgan's state meant that she would be hurling questions at Morgan which she was not in the mood to answer. So she didn't stop, instead the defeated pupil made her way upstairs to her bedroom, threw down her bag and stripped naked to take a shower leaving Lourdes who was feeding Mercer downstairs. After scrubbing the remnants of blood from her skin, Morgan threw on a big T-shirt, pressed a button on the control panel by her bedside to close the blinds and disappeared under her blanket. The room temperature was low but the cold was what she wanted, to be locked away in the cold darkness.
