The final song came to an end and both Morgan and Lynx's bodies were hugged close together when it did. They laughed out loud as they pulled away from each other to get some air and cool down. That was intense. She didn't think that Lynx would stay for her entire session but she guessed he got caught up, even to point of helping with her posture.
She had gradually moved in to a développé position during the first song but the angle of her leg was incorrect. Morgan struggled to correct it and that resulted in her losing her footing. Lynx caught her in the nick of time before she could take an embarrassing fall and with precision he lifted her leg in the one hundred and thirty-five degree angle where it should've been.
Though she didn't say it at the time, but Morgan was thankful for his help and even more so that he stayed and danced with her. Morgan hadn't danced ballet in years, neither had she done anything contemporary since she'd been in the Underworld so she was really out of practice. She hadn't planned on dabbling in samba but Lynx had her twirling and hips swinging from side to side at the saucy beat, she had to admit that she had a great time with him.
"You're a great dancer Morgan." Lynx complimented her as they sat next to each other on the floor. He undid the first few buttons of his colourful shirt exposing his muscular chest and tattoos. Dear Lord. Don't look!
"Me? Oh no, you were amazing. I knew you could dance but this was a whole other level Lynx." Morgan praised him in return.
"Haha, well being Tej comes with a lot of dance lessons."
"It paid off. You had me working up a sweat trying to keep up with you."
Lynx couldn't hide the subtle embarrassment at the words Morgan spoke, he really was a shy one. His eyes suddenly lit up when he looked at her again.
"I have an idea."
"What is it?"
"I'm shooting a music video in three weeks and I'd like you to choreograph all the dancing, including mine."
"Are you being serious?"
"As a heart attack. I'd also like you to be my leading lady... in the video that is."
Morgan was flattered that Lynx would even consider her when he had many other professionals to choose from. She didn't know what to say. How was she going to take this on? Coming up with an entire routine for both women and men was not an easy feat and she would need to practice regularly with the other dancers. Morgan thought of declining the offer but this could be a test of how far she could push herself, plus it was a once in a lifetime to work with a superstar like Tej. It would be a great boost to her career and the attention would be greater.
Mercer, damn it! She had the duty of taking care of her little brother. His nurse could take care of him but Morgan felt it was unfair to leave her with all the stress of a baby even though it was her job. Mercer should mostly be around his family at his critical age, not only someone who was obligated to look after him. She would not allow him to grow up to be a cold, distant brute so Morgan had to put him first.
"I'm sorry Lynx but I don't think I can do it. I already have so much on my plate."
"I understand but I don't want to take no for an answer, at least not yet. I'll give you anything to help make things easier for you. Just name it."
"I don't know..."
"Come on, tell me what's stopping you. I see it in your eyes Princess, you want to do this."
He was right, Morgan did want to do it but she was worried. Why? What did she have to be worried about, she was an adult and could do whatever she wanted. Nothing, that's what. Doubt always took over whenever she wanted to make a huge decision. With a sigh Morgan replied in surrender.
