Everything seemed like a blur, she barely heard anything Jesse said, however, she did catch the words 'suspended for a week' in the midst of it all. How did it come to this? Morgan was incredibly sorry about what happened but weren't they being a bit harsh towards her? It was an accident, she didn't intend on harming her teacher but it happened and she couldn't take it back. She had fought too hard.

She walked through the foyer of The Federation to where her car waited at the entrance. Morgan noticed the stares and heard the whispers. She must have been a sight, still covered in Diana's blood. She didn't get a chance to clean herself, only to grab her things and leave the premises until her suspension ended which seemed pretty unfair to her. Still, she kept her mouth shut and accepted her punishment without so much as a rebuttal. As she exited the building, she heard her name being called. She turned in the direction of the voice which was next to the wide entrance, it was Seven and he was walking towards her. Morgan knew his question before he asked.

"Yes, I'm fine now and yes I received a penalty. I'm suspended for the rest of the week."

"Harsh." was all he replied.

"My thoughts exactly."

"I know it wasn't intentional to harm Diana but how did-what happened in there?"

"I don't know Seven, I just... People are talking about me now more than ever."

"Don't mind them. You're still better than they'll ever be."

Morgan cracked a smile, blushed a little and looked at her driver who stood waiting by her car. Seven just knew the right words to say to make her feel less shitty.

"Allow me to take you out to dinner Morgan."

His bold statement surprised Morgan but then again she expected this. He never seemed interested in anyone else like he was interested in her.

"As much as I'm flattered Seven, I'm not looking for anymore trouble for you or for me. Our relationship is already inappropriate, you're my teacher." Morgan's voice was thin, she'd had enough of this place and she didn't need anything else to ruin her time here.

"Well, that may not be an issue for much longer. Jesse is on the brink on firing me. " he sighed.

"What do you mean? Why would he do that?" Morgan replied with an incredulous look.

"Apparently, someone's not too happy with my work ethic, that I'm 'too familiar' with my students."

"That's bullshit! You're students adore you." Morgan knew who the complainant was, she was livid that Roman would stoop this low just to prove a point.

"I know, but it's fine. If it means that I'd get one date with you, I'll happily skip right through those gates."

"Seven, I-"

"Don't worry, you don't have to say anything right now. I just had to let you know that I think you're incredible."

"Thank you. I think you're amazing too." she blushed.

"Let me walk you to your car."

Morgan nodded in agreement then turned as they took the few steps toward her car in silence. Seven opened her car door and she got inside.

"Take the time off to get some rest and I'll see you when you get back next week."

"I'll try to. Take care of Vigor for me."

"I will." Seven said then closed her car door. Morgan's driver slowly pulled away from the building and she was on her way home.

The intensity of her headache increased which annoyed and made her worried even more. What was wrong with her? As she was about to ask her driver to take her to a physician, her cellphone vibrated to notify her that she'd receive a text message. It was Lynx.
