Roman materialized suddenly in the doorway out of thin air, blocking her path and that set her off more. Fire blazed in her eyes and she was ready to fight him again. How dare he treat her like this, like a common whore! She was worth something more at least.
"Get out of my damn way, Roman! I'm going home." now it was her time to make demands.
He knew how to push her buttons and make her hate him all over again. She attempted to push past his large frame but he slapped her with a murderous look and grabbed her by the throat in the blink of an eye. He squeezed it tightly as he gritted out his next words in anger.
"Why do you fight me all the time? Why won't you obey me?" his face inching closer to hers with each word he spoke. The glass he held in his other hand shattered between his fingers as his anger rose.
"I will never..." Morgan manage to wheeze out with teary eyes as Roman squeezed the living shit out of her. His gorgeous eyes demanding her to stand down and comply.
Morgan knew a terrible bruise would bless her neck and she wasn't looking forward to covering it up. Her head was pounding and her heart raced but she was suddenly sent to heaven when Roman kissed her hard on her cooling lips. His tongue dove into her mouth as he searched for answers on the ways of her world and all he could taste, smell and feel was Morgan. She was invigorating and a complete rebel when it came to him. The grip on her neck gradually loosened and the fresh air she took in burned her chest but it was all him and she kissed him back ferociously. Roman suddenly pulled himself away from her like she had the plague and ran a hand through his hair in a frustrated rage.
"Damn it, Morgan! I want you rip to shreds for your insolence but I also want to fuck you into submission."
Morgan had no reply to his words. She knew without a doubt that if it came down to it, she'd willingly let him fuck her over and over again. She walked back to the lounge and retrieved her drink so she could ease her sore throat. This time however, she didn't sit. She walked over to the immense window and looked out at the vast forest that laid before her like a thick blanket. Way off on the horizon, she could see the searchlights still dancing in the sky which meant the gala was still in full swing. The debauchery must have been something to behold and Morgan was happy she wasn't there to witness it. The princess felt Roman's presence directly behind her but she didn't move.
"I'm sorry." he spoke softly.
Morgan had expected many things from Roman but never an apology. She was surprised but she didn't give him the satisfaction of turning around to face him. Not after what he'd just done.
"You can't try to kill me every time you don't get your way, Roman." she reprimanded in a hoarse voice.
"I can, but it would be wrong."
This time Morgan quickly turned around to glare at him then roll her eyes. He was a lost cause. She walked around him to leave again but again he stopped her when she almost reached the door. This time with his words.
"Morgan wait! I don't know how... I've never had to apologize to anyone before."
Again, she heard his footsteps approaching her from behind and she stood stiff as a board as he got closer and closer. She could feel his warmth breath on the nape of her neck and shivered. His head leaned against hers and his arms snaked around her waist.
"Don't go." he begged in a whisper and it tugged at her heart.
"Why shouldn't I leave?" Morgan asked in a harsh tone.
"Reason one, I'd never let you..." Morgan tried to pull away when she heard his words but held her tighter and pressed her ass against his groin then kissed her neck. "Reason two, I need you."
