Lynx held up an unused tray in front of her so he couldn't show off his handiwork. It wasn't a mirror but the metal was clean enough to let Morgan see the bloody mess she'd become, the red fluid marring the words that covered her body. His assault was horrific, but if it kept his focus off her pregnant, dying sister then Morgan would take it all. She would do anything to get her out of here.

"Please... please Lynx... stop this. I am begging you, just let us go." her voice was hoarse but she wouldn't give up. She had to bargain for Lourdes' life.

"I like you begging me, Morgan. It's... fitting."

Lynx took up his dagger after putting the tray down, twirling the object between his fingers. She saw it coming this time. Morgan saw his fist tightening around the handle of the blade, she saw his hand raise and the knife descend on her left shoulder, breaking her collar bone. The princess had done some heinous deeds in the past but she didn't think it warranted this type of betrayal by someone she once considered a friend. Her cries were immediately silenced by an upper cut to the abdomen, causing her to spew the little contents of her stomach all over herself and into her wounds. She heard the door to the lab open again during her horrendous regurgitation.

"Lynx, get away from her!" the booming voice roared. The authority within it made Lynx back away from her immediately, pulling the dagger out of her shattered shoulder.

Morgan listened as the steps approached where they were, even in the midst of hell her tearful eyes looked to the far left wanting to see the face of the devil.

"Dr. Devane?" her own surprise smothered her. Was everyone in this god forsaken kingdom a traitorous maggot? They were all out to get her. "But-but... how?"

The tall, dark handsome man came into her full view dressed in his white coat and held a clipboard. The doctor's expression was unusual, he looked neither satisfied with her predicament nor displeased and that put Morgan more on edge.

"You'll have to forgive my son, Morgan. He can be a little... enthusiastic." Dr. Devante spoke in a soft, professional manner to her as if his son's behaviour was a normal thing. Wait a minute, his son?! She'd thought Lynx's folks were through with the Underworld.

"Please let me go, Dr. Devane. Your son is crazy! He kidnapped me for no reason... please, I just want to go home." again Morgan begged for her torment to end.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to do that, Princess. He kidnapped you under my orders." the brown skinned man stated but Morgan had already expected that same answer, even though it filled her with dread.

"What do you want from me? I'm nothing, I have nothing. My mother would be the one to grant all the money you want."

"On the contrary my dear, you have everything that I need. You must truly have no idea how special you are."

Dr. Devane's voice didn't even raise in the slightest at her. He was even bold enough to move away the damp, curly strands of hair sticking to her wet cheeks with his fingers. Morgan tried retracting her face from his touch but couldn't due to her shackles. She felt so disgusted, so dirty and used. She hated her beauty, she hated whatever light she had left inside of her, Morgan hated her own existence. Fuck her bitch mother and her angelic prick of a father for creating her!

"Do you know what the Queen will do to you when she finds out that you've kidnapped her heir?! You're both dead, d'ya hear me?" Morgan's anger and frustration took over once again. The doctor laughed loudly as if Morgan had just told him a funny joke.

"That's rich! We're not afraid of the Queen, Princess and do you want to know why?" When Morgan didn't answer, he continued. "Because she's the one who brought us back to this wretched world so she wouldn't oppose what we're doing here."
