Another successful week of training was completed but Morgan had to spend her day off at the studio overseeing the construction taking place. She hadn't seen or heard from her mother the whole time so that was something to celebrate. Maybe the old bat had forgotten about her and that's how it should be. Morgan hadn't seen or heard from Roman either, probably off somewhere 'doing as he pleased' as he so put it but she was done thinking about him, she had other things on her mind like wondering if Hillary packed her leotards.
Some of the workers were busy installing the wooden Harlequin floors which would prevent her from getting injured like she did in the past, while the others were busy with the electrical circuits so she could get the best lighting. There was more work to be done and Morgan patiently waited for the thick wall mirrors that were arriving soon. She would give more instructions to the decorator later but she was pleased that it was all coming together.
Standing at the entrance of the her new place, she watched them work however she got distracted by the melancholy tune floating up to her ear from a grand piano. Every note was so sad and spoke to how she felt deep down, she wanted to know who was it's composer. Leaving her place by the door, Morgan allowed her feet to lead her downstairs to where the piano store was located.
The the thick glass walls of the store made it possible that the princess didn't have to go in just yet but stand outside and enjoy the music. She saw the person playing, a man, his back faced her but somehow he seemed familiar. She had seen him before but she couldn't put her finger on it. That kinky hair, mocha skin and body hugging shirt, her brain went into overdrive figuring him out. It wasn't until the song ended and he removed himself from the piano that she did in fact recognize him.
She entered the exclusive shop and gingerly walked near to where he was leaning against the piano. She had to to get his attention somehow. Clearing her throat she spoke,
"Excuse me, Tej? Tej is that you?" the handsome stranger looked up from his cellphone he had taken from his pocket and looked at Morgan.
He looked a little apprehensive at first, either because he was a really shy person or that he didn't want to be seen talking with her at all. His lips lifted in a faint smile before he responded to her,
"Uh, I'm only known as Tej elsewhere... Hold on, you seem familiar. You're Princess Morgan right?" he said in an afterthought.
"In the flesh. I'm actually a big fan of yours... you know, back on Earth. I bought all your albums." Morgan chortled ackwardly.
Tej was a megastar on Earth. He had the voice of a thousand angels. She had always been a huge fan of his music but she never knew he was a demon all this time. Well how could she? Their world's were different, he sang and she danced.
Tej now shared her ackward laugh,
"Um, yeah. I uh... thank you for that. I'm- I'm sorry but you're incredibly beautiful so I'm a little...." he finished looking away shyly.
