The stress of everything weighed on Morgan and having a baby that kept her up at night didn't make things easier. It had been a month since Mignon left Mercer with her, she could admit that she loved the kid even down right adored him but he cried and pooped then ate and cried some more. It was too much for her. To make things worse, Jesse amped up her training from the beginning stages to the advanced one, completely skipping over the moderate stage that should've been next. This simply meant that she had two additional hours of training and had to double the amount of training she did within those hours.

Morgan was getting less sleep and it showed but still she wore that brave face because she made a promise to herself, she would be the best. Lourdes kept her promise and helped out with Mercer as much as she could but she had her own life to deal with and Morgan insisted she spend some time with Quinn who complained previously of being neglected. Being around Mercer a lot had made Lourdes baby crazy and was now she was counting down the days until she and Quinn could procreate during their mating period. Morgan could handle it, although the faint ringing in her right ear and dull headache sowed the seed of doubt in her mind.

It didn't help that as she exited her car and entered the foyer of The Federation, she saw Jesse in deep conversation with Roman, the last person she wanted to see. Right by his side again was the same woman from the restaurant a few nights ago making everything inside her dry up. She felt cold, though her palms were sweaty and the ringing in her ear intensified.

Her demon was consumed by jealousy and wanted blood, whether his or hers. Take it easy girl. Morgan swallowed hard as she increased her steps to walk pass the trio, she was just having withdrawls. She would forget about him in due time and move on. She hated herself for getting attached to him even though she tried not to. It was just sex Morgan! However it was more than that, everything within her knew it. He was her mate so he belonged to her. His intoxicating scent overtook her as she walked by making her body roar to life. Using all her strength she willed her body to back down and remain dormant because there was nothing to get excited for.

The sound of Jesse calling her name made her stop in her tracks. Oh no. Morgan turned around slowly to face the Headmaster who was heading towards her with a apprehensive look on his face which made her wonder what they were talking about.

"Good morning Princess." Jesse greeted with a small smile.

"Good morning Headmaster, what can I do for you?" Morgan replied but her eyes were fixed on the couple behind Jesse. Roman's cold dead eyes glanced her way making her heart skip a little but within a second his eyes were on the dark haired beauty beside him, it was like he had never seen Morgan before.

"We have two special guests who will be observing all our sessions today including yours. I wanted to give you a heads up just in case but act as if they aren't there.

"That won't be a problem Jesse, thank you for telling me. I'll see you later."

Morgan quickly spun around and went on her way. Today she had two classes so they could show up to either one. As much as Morgan acted as if she didn't care, she wanted to know why he was here in the first place and here with that woman. Why were they observing the students? The answers to that would come at a later time but for now she would put her focus on the dragon training she had up ahead. The task for today would be a rough one but she was prepared for anything. Dragons were unpredictable and any sign of weakness from it's rider could end in death so today Morgan was more than determined not to die. Not in front of these two so they could dance on her corpse.

She sat in her potions session listening as her Master droned on about the side effects of using the Elixir of Life but truly she was anticipating the practical part when she would brew the potion by herself and use it on a test subject. If done correctly, she would hold the key to eternal life, something many humans would give an arm for. Demons didn't really need this because they already had unnatural long lives.
