"Get off me Lourdes!" Morgan shouted, what the hell had gotten into her? Yet here her sister laid sprawled out on top of Morgan, her body trembling. Poor Morgan's cheek was mushed to the ground some of her words weren't coming out clearly.

"Lourdes I can't breathe properly, get off me bitch!" again she shouted. She felt the weight of her sister ease and Morgan was able to sit up now to gather the rest of her things from the floor. She looked at Lourdes who was visibly shaking, eyes wide in terror as a tear slipped from one. Her eyes darted toward the perpetrator who made her sister like this, but saw that the person, who was obviously male based on build, was being ushered by another into the back of a limousine waiting by the entrance. He had long black hair, like the most beautiful hair she had ever seen in her life and that smell, what was that intoxicating scent? Mm-hmm. It was like cherry flavoured bubblegum. Grabbing Lourdes' face Morgan let the questions' fly,

"What happened? Why are you crying? Who was that asshole?!"

Shaking her head, Lourdes snapped out of whatever shock she was in and got up quickly pulling Morgan up with her. Her face became stern after wiping her tears away and her voice was soft and hoarse as she spoke to her bestfriend.

"You have to be careful of what you say to demons Morgan. Your family isn't loved by everyone. That mouth of yours may get you hurt or worse."

"Ha! So I keep hearing."

"This isn't a joke Morgan! While you were busy letting your insults go on the guy, he was getting ready to crush your skull with his shoes, literally. If not for me and his companion, you would be dead right now, just a pile of fucking goo on the floor!" the seriousness in Lourdes' tone made regret was over her body. She never wanted this much drama when she came back to the Underworld. All she wanted was to do her training then go on about her business and now she had another enemy to had to her list of haters.

"I could have lost you in a split second, I'm so happy I was here to protect you. That man's eyes were unlike anything I have ever seen M. I've have seen evil in my lifetime but nothing like that, it was horrifying." her statement piqued Morgan's curiosity now.

"Who was he?"

"I don't know but I have seen him before, I don't recall where though. He's usually with his companion that follows him everywhere. "

"Well I'll try to be more careful if I see him around ok?" Morgan wasn't sure why she said that, she didn't get the chance to see his face so how would she identify him? Damn it!

"Thanks, that puts my mind at ease a little. He could just be one of the more older, high roller demons or maybe not. Just don't take any chances, not until you can defend yourself properly okay?"

"Okay. Now that you mentioned it, I need to get to class. I'll see you later." Morgan promised by kissing Lourdes' cheek them scampered off with what little time was left to her class.

Morgan checked her schedule while she was on her way to the faculty building for Armed Defence to see the which are she was to be in and realized it was the gym. There weren't many who were allowed in The Federation, the masters didn't have time to waste on students who weren't there to be the best and so the waitlist to get in was a mile long. Lourdes was a student but dropped out to pursue other passions. She claimed fighting wasn't her strong suit but artillery is what she loved. It proved true because she could name and state the purpose of every accoutrements she's ever come across with those googly eyes one made when they were in love.

Still, Morgan was off to a bad start with this tardiness and she vowed to make it right. Even the little toddlers who were accepted into The Federation sat at their little desks, backs upright and staring ahead at their teacher as she explained something to them. Morgan could only stare in awe, they were so young and innocent  but their cute faces said otherwise.
