Will Herondale and Matthew Fairchild

The Shadowhunters were at the Lightwood-Bane loft, it was their day off and as they were all talking, the topic of memories came.

Alec who was talking in the conversation suddenly got silent and Izzy and Jace noticed that, Magnus who also noticed that, understood that Alec needed to talk.

"What's wrong honey?", Magnus asked slowly rubbing Alec's hand and all looked at him, Alec broke out of his thoughts.

"Nothing", Alec said, "Try again", all the others said and Alec let out a chuckle, "Just a thought, a memory to be exact", Alec said and they all looked at him questioningly.

"When we were giving our happy memories to the memory demon, there was a boy in your memory", Alec said looking at Magnus.

"A boy with blue eyes and black hair", Simon said and Alec nodded and Magnus smiled sadly, "Will, Will Herondale", he said.

"How can you remember?", Izzy asked surprised, "I know why I gave that memory so I remember what it is, just not visually", Magnus said.

"You have told me about Will, the thing was why in that memory, Will looked sad", Alec said remembering the Herondale, in the memory smiling sadly.

"It was the time when he came to me for the first time saying he was cursed and he couldn't be with the women he loved because of that", Magnus said smiling sadly at the memory.

"Wait what?", Jace asked and Magnus nodded, "That's the funny thing, when Sebastian was here everyone thought it was their worst time and it couldn't get any worse", Magnus said getting up.

"I would say it is worst for all of you here, but in the past, each and every one of your descendants lived a nightmare of their own", Magnus said and extended his hand to Alec who took it.

"If you want we can visit them", Magnus said and all looked at each other and nodded, Magnus quickly did some magic and they were in a different place entirely.

"Magnus?", they heard a voice and turned to see Matthew Fairchild, "Matthew Fairchild", Magnus said his voice shaking a bit, and hugged Matthew who hugged him back.

"How are you?", Matthew asked, "I am great, how are you, where are the others?", Magnus asked, "I am... going on, James is here, Will and Tessa are here somewhere, Cordelia is out with Lucie, Grace and Christopher are in the lab", Matthew said looking around.

"JAMIE", he shouted and all winced, "Why the blazing hell are you shouting Matthew-Magnus?", James asked surprised and Magnus nodded.

James immediately crashed into Magnus, "I missed you, where have you been all these years?", James asked.

Alec cleared his throat seeing Jace staring at James in shock and awe, "Which year is this?", he asked.

"1907", James said, "Wow", Izzy said, "Magnus my dear friend, what are you doing here? Is everything alright?", Will asked coming down the steps and crashing into Magnus both nearly falling, but Alec and Jace caught them.

"It's good to see you my dear friend", Magnus said laughing, "Will!", they all heard a familiar voice.

"Tessa", Magnus said trying to hide Will behind his back, "Nice try Magnus", Tessa said and looked at the others.

"Who-Oh no", Tessa said, "Mom what's it?", James asked, "I think Magnus will explain, won't you Magnus?", she asked sweetly and Magnus gulped and nodded.

"Come on, we'll sit inside", she said and all went, Magnus introduced them to his family and vice versa.

"My descendent?", James and Will asked surprised looking at Jace and Magnus nodded, "I have a descendent too?", Matthew asked the most surprised out of all and Magnus nodded.

"Magnus, how? Please don't tell me I married someone", Matthew said, "Matthew it is not your fault", Magnus and James said together.

"You know what I am not having this conversation, I know what happened, I was there", Matthew said and got up.

Everyone except Malec and James was confused, "I was there when my little brother was killed and I couldn't do anything", Izzy said and the ones from the future looked sad.

Matthew was surprised and looked at Magnus who nodded, "Still I can't I am sorry, she may be Charles', but I can't be Magnus", Matthew said and Magnus sighed.

"How long are you gonna live with this guilt? This feeling for something you did unintentionally", Magnus asked and Matthew looked away.

"Until I die maybe", he said, "Matthew Fairchild what do you think you are talking about?", Will asked, "So you have been drinking?", Magnus asked.

"No", the blonde said immediately and James also nodded at Magnus confirming it, "Fine if you don't believe see how your life will change in a few years and you are not stopping it", Magnus said.

"Ookay how about we have some tea and call the silent brothers?", Will asked, "No", James, Magnus, and Tessa said together but Matthew smirked.

"Don't Fairchild", James said, Matthew immediately started his acting, "CALL THE BROTHERS, I AM MOST VILEY ILL", he said falling into Will's arms.

"A common cold would suffice...", James said exasperated and Sizzy and Clary could see Alec and Jace in those two.

"Not doing anything would also suffice", Alec said, "I HAVE DROPSY! DEATH IS IMMINENT! AH DEAR LOST YOUTH", Matthew said.

"What?", Izzy asked and Magnus rolled his eyes at the acting, "... Excessive. I always like it", Will said.

Will and Matthew were partners in this, "Of course you do", Magnus said and got up and did some magic on Matthew.

"There you go, you can't even get a common cold now", he said making Matthew stand straight, "Oh come on Magnus, don't be like that", Will said.

"I just came here to show my family you guys, but now I need to leave", Magnus said and the ones from past's faces fell.

"Hey I will be always here, you can call me and I will be here in a jiff", Magnus said and hugged all of them, finally hugging Will.

"Be strong as always my dear friend", Magnus said and Will smiled and looked at Tessa and the two parabatai.

"I will", he said and the shadowhunters from the future left for their time, "Wow that was eventful", Simon said.

"Tell me about it", Magnus, "I am sorry Magnus I made you do this and now you are missing them and old feelings are-", Alec started.

Magnus kissed him stopping him, "That's our cue to go", Jace said pulling the others with him, "You are more important to me than them, that's why I gave up that memory instead of one with you, I cherish every moment with you and I don't want to lose it, ever", Magnus said and Alec kissed him again.

"So don't ever feel bad for doing that, I enjoyed seeing them, thanks to you", Magnus said breaking from the kiss.

"I love you Magnus Lightwood-Bane", he said and Magnus chuckled, "I love you too Alexander Lightwood-Bane", Magnus said...
