Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu (Ninjago)

Prologue

Day's Prior

Cole was walking inside the monastery one night on the way back to his room after getting a glass of water. When he heard the sound of muffled crying from Misty's room.

He gently knocked on the door, and called out softly, "Misty are you okay?"

He heard a pause in the crying and then the sound of shuffling feet and sniffling. The door slid open and revealed a red eye Misty with tears still staining her face. The tip of her nose was red and her hair was a mess. She was still dressed in what appeared to be a nice dress.

"Was I being too loud?" she asked softly

"Uh no, I mean well I could hear you but, what I mean is are you okay?" Cole asked gently.

Misty shook her head no silently.

"What happened I thought you went out on a date with Lloyd?" Cole said

Hearing this Misty's eyes started watering again and tears started falling from her eyes once more. Misty started hiccuping due to her crying.

"Oh, Misty what happened?" Cole said and he set his water glass down and gently held the side of Misty's face and tried wiping away the tears that fell.

"He's still caught up on Harumi! It was so obvious in the beginning but I tried ignoring it! I thought maybe we could work through it," Misty cried. "Once he fell asleep while we were watching a movie and he called out her name in his sleep," Misty said and she shook her head in defeat. "I don't know what to do. He's been pushing me away lately. Ever since I finally tried discussing the problem with him and Harumi."

"I'm so sorry Misty," Cole said and he gave her a hug.

"On top of that, I'm so worried that something else bad will happen to Ninjago! It's to a point I'm practically becoming paranoid!" Misty sighed.

"How paranoid?" Cole asked

"I've set traps in the monastery in case we're invaded, Jay's fallen into at least two of them so far," Misty sighed

"Sounds like maybe you should try and relax a little. You already have a lot on your mind with Lloyd and everything," Cole suggested.

"You're right..." Misty sighed and leaned against her door frame she looked exhausted.

"Misty when was the last time you slept?" Cole asked as he peered closer at Misty's face. Looking closer he noticed the dark circles under her eyes.

"Uh, I've lost count," Misty admitted sheepishly.

"Is it your nightmares again?" Cole asked gently.

Misty nodded and said, "Yeah, they've gotten worse ever since my run-in with the Oni. Usually, Lloyd stays with me," her voice trailed off and her eyes darkened again.

"Misty you need to sleep, you are exhausted," Cole said and he then added, "I can sit in a chair by your bed so you're not alone,"

Misty eyes widened and she looked up at Cole and she said, "You'd do that for me?!"

"Of course, I would, I care about you Misty," Cole replied an embarrassed look flashed across his face and he said, "Maybe a little more than I should,"

A shocked look flashed across Misty's face followed by her face flushing red. "I thought you would have changed your mind by now," she muttered.

"About you?" Cole asked incredulously

Misty nodded. Cole chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck and said, "I've liked you for a very long time, Misty, and I still do, but I want you to be happy and you're happy with Lloyd."

"More or less," Misty muttered she looked defeated.

Cole placed his hand on Misty's shoulder and said kindly, "It's going to be okay Misty, Lloyd will come around, just give him some time,"

Misty's lip began to tremble again and she said, "I hope your right," and she hid her face against Cole's chest as she started crying again.

Well, well, long time no see readers. Welcome to "Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu" the book I once swore I would never write but here we are. This book will include The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu seasons one and two. Which means, Aspheera, The Never Realm, Prime Empire, and Shintaro. This is going to be a very long book. I hope you'll enjoy it. And are excited to once again witness the adventures of Misty and the Ninja.
