The Upply Strike Back

~The Dungeons~

In the dungeons, the Geckles and the Munce were mining under the supervision of the Re-Awakened. Meanwhile, the ninja were helpless to do anything about it and watched from inside their vengestone cage. That was hanging high above the ground.

"Ugh!" Nya cried out as she pulled at the bars of the cage even kicking it.

"Save your strength, Sis. It's Vengestone." Kai said

"Ugh!" Nya cried out in frustration and said, "The Munce had faith in me, and now look at them. Right back where they were. In chains." She slumped down sitting beside her brother on the ground, "I can't believe we were gullible enough to trust the Skull Sorcerer,"

"Yep. I'm probably going down as the worst Chancellor in Geckle history," Kai agreed

"I do not see that we had any choice," Zane reasoned

"Zane's right. If we hadn't surrendered, he would have destroyed all of them," Jay pointed out.

"At least they're still alive. There's still hope," Lloyd added

"Hahaha. That's the spirit, but unfortunately, there is no hope. I have decided a demonstration is needed to show my true power over this mountain," The Skull Sorcerer said as he used his wings to fly up to the cage and gloated at his captured audience.

"What kind of demonstration?" Kai asked narrowing his eyes as he approached the cage bars.

"For too long, the Geckles and Munce have resisted my rule. But when they witness your destruction..." The Skull Sorcerer said as he slowly flew around the cage.

"Destruction!" The Skull chanted in his raspy voice.

"When all hope is lost..." The Skull Sorcerer finished

"Lost."

"They will submit," He finished the ninja could tell he was grinning under his mask.

"What are you gonna do to us?" Jay asked clutching the bars of the cage.

"You'll perish at the talons of Grief-Bringer," The Sorcerer announced

"Grief-Bringer!" The Skull repeated as always

"Okay, that's getting annoying," Nya muttered her brows furrowed

"Yeah, I don't know who to look at, you or the skull," Kai chuckled

"I'm looking at the skull, it's not as ugly. Hahaha!" Jay said smirking. Both Kai and Jay laughed at the jab.

"Silence!" The Skull Sorcerer roared and added, "Enjoy your final moments of levity,"

"They will be your last," The Skull added before flying after the Skull Sorcerer as he started to depart.

"Aren't you forgetting one thing? Cole and Misty, They're still out there, and if I know them, by now, they've found King Vangelis and told him everything. They're probably on their way to stop you right now!" Lloyd shouted after him gripping the bars of the cage

"Oh, that's right. You don't know," The Skull Sorcerer said and he turned around and transformed back into Vangelis laughing.

"You?" Lloyd cried

"Vangelis?" Nya shouted in disbelief

"Your friends did come to me. And I cast them into the bowels of the mountain. Them and that old fool, Wu." He then turned back into the Skull Sorcerer.

Lloyd gritted his teeth and said, "You're not the first to think so. But both of them have a way of popping up when you least expect it,"
