Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu (Ninjago)

Vengeance is Mine

"Misty radio in the others!" Nya said

"On it!" Misty replied and she quickly got to work calling the others using the mobile base's control panel.

"Please answer, please be okay," she whispered.

"Pixal come in! Pixal?" Nya shouted

They then saw Pixal's face appear and she said, "Nya, where are you?"

"I'm with Zane, Lloyd, and Misty. We have the second scroll. Repeat. We have the second scroll!"

Misty smiled as she heard Kai, Jay, and Cole's voice cheer and shout, "Yes!"

"That is most welcome news," Pixal replied

"Nya, tell Lloyd and Misty to be careful with the scroll. It is very dangerous. The less they handle it, the better."

"I understand. We'll be careful." Nya replied

They then heard a loud crash and Nya asked, "What was that sound?"

"The structural integrity of the doors is failing. You have to hurry, Nya!" Pixal shouted

"Hold on, PIxal! We're coming!" Shouted and she pulled a lever and the mobile base increased in speed.

"What is it?" Lloyd asked

"We're running out of time, and Lloyd Wu said be careful with that scroll it's dangerous," Nya said

Misty looked over at Lloyd and saw he had unwrapped the spear and was holding it. He then opened the scroll and started to read it. and said, "I'll be careful."

His eyes started glowing and his head caught on fire again.

"Uh, Lloyd," Misty said nervously.

"Maybe you should warp it up again, just to be safe," Nya said looking back

Lloyd then shouted back in a different voice, "I said I'll be careful!"

Lloyd shook his head and said, "His normal voice, "Nya, I...I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me,"

"It's the scroll, Lloyd. Put it down." Nya said

Lloyd walked over to the tapestry that lay on the floor and it seemed with great effort he placed the spear down and covered it.

Lloyd glanced at Misty and noticed she had an uneasy look on her face.

"I hope the others are safe...They have to be." Misty muttered

"We'll be there soon," Nya assured Misty.

They arrived at the loading dock and drove onto it. They climbed to the roof of the mobile base and entered the cavern hideout.

Lloyd lifted the spear into the air his eyes glowing and head on fire and he shouted, "Aspheera!"

"The second scroll? Impossible!" Aspheera shrieked

"I'm full of surprises," Lloyd said and they jumped down and landed in front of Aspheera!"

Aspheera charged at Lloyd using Spinjitzu and Lloyd met her in his own tornado. Metal clashed against metal as Lloyd faced Aspheera he held his ground but was soon knocked down. Jay leaped forward and scoped up the spear and clashed against Aspheera only to be soon knocked out of his tornado. The spear flew through the air and Cole shouted, "I got it!" he caught it he rushed toward Aspheera. His eyes glowing and head on fire just as Jay's and Lloyd's had been. He held his own as he battled against the snake but the was defeated when he attempted to face her using Spinjitzu. Misty then picked up the staff and rushed toward Aspheera and clashed against the snake as well. Even with power thrumming through her veins she struggled to continue to hold her own against the snake. And she has knocked backward the spear flying from her hands. Cole helped her to her feet. Misty's head was spinning and she looked up and noticed the crystals on the ceiling had started trembling. The spear flew and landed at Kai's feet he picked it up. But hesitated, "Look out Kai!" Zane and Wu shouted

Aspheera sped toward him and Kai was knocked backward. Zane managed to grab the staff and Aspheera sent a blast of purple energy straight toward Wu and the ninjas. The Ninja dodge aside and it hit Pixal's mech that had been downed. The mech was consumed in purple light and then vanished.

Zane then rushed toward Aspheera fueled by the scroll his head on fire and eyes glowing he shouted, "Leave my friends alone!" He froze two soldiers coming his way and then sent and line of ice speeding toward Aspheera encasing her in an ice crystal. The remaining mummies tried fleeing but were also frozen by Zane.

"How'd you do that?" Jay asked

"It is the power of the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Zane. Give it to me." Wu said

Zane turned and he seemed to be confused for a second and then Wu shouted again, "Zane!" more urgently this time. Zane walked toward Wu his head was still on fire and his eyes still glowing.

Aspheera's hand holding the spear freed it from the ice and Lloyd was the only one to notice and shouted, "Look out!"

Zane turned and saw a purple beam of energy speeding toward Wu.

Misty ignoring the headache rushed toward Wu and Zane, and cried out, "No!" But the scene before her seemed to happen in slow motion. Zane shoved Wu out of the way and the blast of energy struck him instead, and he vanished leaving only a chard mark on the ground. Aspheera's spear clattered to the ground beside the ice crystal.

"Oh, no! Zane!" Nya cried

"Zane!" Cole screamed

"No!" Pixal screamed and she ran to the place where Zane was standing same as the rest of the ninjas. "Zane..." She said softly and fell to her knees where Zane had once stood.

With a scream, Misty rushed toward the ice crystal and picked up the spear laying on the ground she raised it above her head and prepared to bring it down on the ice crystal, her eyes glowed and her head was on fire. Cole knocked the spear from her grasp. Misty fell to her knees and let out a frustrated scream her eyes glowed brighter than before and the crystals on the ceiling shattered and shards rained down onto the ninja. It was a miracle no one was seriously injured by them they had a few minor cuts here and there.

"Misty!" Cole shouted and he squeezed Misty's shoulders. Her eyes were still glowing brightly and tears were brimming in the corners of them. A drop of blood fell from a cut on Cole's cheek and it landed on Misty's this seem to snap her out of it. Her eyes dimmed and tears trickled down her face.

She looked over at the other ninja Nya and Jay were helping Pixal to her feet and gently leading her to the elevator. Kai and Lloyd were with Wu as he contacted Kryptarium Prison for them to come to pick Aspheera up.

"I'm sorry... I just got so angry... I wasn't even thinking, I just wanted to hurt her like she did Zane," Misty said and she bowed her head in defeat.

Cole helped Misty to her feet and said, "Come on I'll help you clean up, It'd be bad if people stepped on these,"

Misty nodded her head and she walked off with Cole to fetch a broom. He then said, "They shattered the instant you screamed and your eyes glowed brighter than I've ever seen them. I'm guessing these shatter when your emotions reach a breaking point," Cole said softly.

Misty stayed quiet but nodded in response. She shuddered as she remembered the feeling she had just been in, she had been completely consumed in nothing but blind rage she had never felt anything like it before. She looked back at the spot where Zane had been and her heart dropped once more.

"Zane...Why Zane..." Misty whispered softly
