Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu (Ninjago)

Powerless

Ninjago was in ruin fire was roaring everywhere and citizens were doing their best to flee to safety. The ninjas were racing down the street, and they arrived just in time to save the commissioner and a few of his officers that had gotten surrounded and trapped.

"Hang on, Guys!" Cole shouted and the ninja jumped out of their vehicles, and Lloyd shouted, "How about a fair fight?"

Zane evaporated one snake with ice, and Lloyd dispatched another with a sliding kick. Jay leaped into the air and zapped one and the Cole shouted, "I got this one!" He jumped into the air and slammed the ground with his lava hands knocking several of the snakes back. Lloyd used his powers to get on top of the police car so he could better protect the officers, and shouted, "Nya, can you get us some water?"

"I'll try!" Nya shouted and she rushed toward a fire hydrate while being chased by snakes. Misty used her Spinjitzu to stop their advance to give Nya more time.

Nya got to the fir hydrate and kicked off the top and used the water inside to dispatch two snakes. Cole and Jay used Spinjitzu to push back two others.

Kai then spotted two citizens that had been cornered by a snake. He jumped down behind the snakes and shouted, "Pick on someone your own size!" He tried using his element but it didn't work. The snakes turned on him hissing and snarling. "Oh, right, no powers."

The two snakes slithered toward him but were zapped by Jay before they could reach the red ninja. Jay winked at Kai and gave him a salute and then flipped away.

The ninja continued to dispatch the remaining snakes. Once they were finished the commissioner said, "Oh, thank you. It's good to have you all back."

The ninja approached the commissioner and lowered their hoods. And Lloyd said, "Good to be back, Commissioner." A beeping was heard and the Commissioner pulled out his phone, he looked at the screen and his eyes narrowed. "We're getting reports the leader of the serpents is heading for the Ninjago History Museum.

Cole then spoke up and said, "Her name's Aspheera and she's deeply nuts."

"Whatever she's after, we'd better not let her get it," Lloyd said

"How can we help?" the commissioner asked

"Evacuate as many people as you can and set up a perimeter. We'll handle the rest." Lloyd confirmed.

"You heard him!" The commissioner shouted and he and his officers hurried off.

"We'd better get a move on!" Lloyd shouted to the team. All of the Ninjas flipped up their hoods and started running except Kai who stood standing and he looked down at the ground and said, "Actually, I'm sitting this on out." The ninja turned around and said, "What? Why?"

"Aspheera stole my powers, remember? I can't help. I mean, Jay had to save me just now. Jay!" Kai shouted. Jay rubbed the back of his head and said, "Huh. That's a weird way of saying thanks."

Lloyd lowered his hood and Kai continued and said, "Just go without me. I would only get in your way."

Lloyd walked over to Kai and placed his hand on Kai's shoulder and said, "Powers don't make a hero."

Kai scoffed and pushed Lloyd's hand off and said, "Dude, that's just something people with powers say to make people without powers feel better!"

"That's not true. We need you!" Lloyd said

More fireballs streaked across the sky and landed somewhere in the distance and Nya shouted, "We don't have time to argue. The people in that museum need help!"

"She's right. We gotta go!" Cole agreed

Kai turned his back on Lloyd and the others, and Lloyd placed his hand on Kai's shoulder and said, "If you change your mind, you know where we'll be." Lloyd flipped up his mask and the ninja ran back to their vehicles. Lloyd stopped for a second to look back at Kai. Before running off with the others.
