The Cliffs of Hysteria

The ninja continued walking to the Cliffs of Hysteria. Okino followed behind, dragging his sword on the ground. Looking very dishearted.

"I'm worried about Okino. He took the news pretty hard," Lloyd muttered to Cole as they walked.

"Wouldn't you, if you found out your whole world was nothing but a simulation, and you were part of it?" Cole offered

Misty then muttered "Imagine being told your whole existence is based upon a mentally ill person's imagination..." She shuddered and said, "Sounds horrible,"

"We gotta cheer him up," Nya agreed

"Yeah. Okay, nobody says anything about Unagami, Prime Empire, or the Key-Tana," Lloyd said

"Well, what do we talk about?" Kai asked

"Anything. Just, keep it cheerful," Lloyd said

The ninja stop, letting Okino catch up. He passes them, still dragging his sword on the ground and looking down. Misty noticed that even the dust particles from the tip of the sword looked pixilated. Jay chased after him. Cole noticed the look on Misty's face and realized she was marveling at it and he clamped his hand over her mouth before she said anything about the pixels.

"Uh, so, Okino, what do you do around here for fun, anyway?" Jay asked with an awkward chuckle.

"Fun is an illusion," Okino said his voice crestfallen.

"Hey, how about that sky? Look at those clouds!" Cole offered hopefully.

"The clouds..." Okino looked up at the sky and said, "Lies!"

Kai rushed up and shoved Cole aside and said "Say, Okino, how do you get a ninja to cross the road? You say, ninja-go! Get it?"

"There is no road. Only the nothingness is real." Okino replied glumly.

"That was a terrible joke," Cole said with a scowl

"You got a better one?" Kai snapped

The ninja stop, realizing they have arrived at the Cliffs of Hysteria. Everyone is amazed. "Holy Cow," Jay said and they gapped at the wall before them.

"Tell me those aren't the Cliffs of Hysteria." Kai said nervously

"That's not a cliff. That looks like a wall that never ends!" Cole said

"Definitely not double-jumping up that thing," Nya added

"Yeah, Okino, I'm not sure if I can climb that, and if I can't do it, these guys don't stand a chance!" Jay said and he motioned to the rest of them

"Thanks, Jay," Kai snapped

"Honest, but insulting," Cole added

"At least he worded nice," Misty sighed

"We don't even have a rope!" Lloyd added,

"You can buy some from Shifty," Okino mumbled

"From who?" Lloyd asked

Okino pointed to a salesman right under the cliffs, as a spotlight illuminates his small shop. Shifty waved to get their attention.

"Greetings, travelers! Welcome to Shifty's Tables! Step right up and take a look, this is the finest merchandise in all of Terra Karana! There's green leather armor there, and those arrows are genuine poison-tipped," He then took notice of Nya and said, "oh, who might you be?" He rushed over to Nya, and took her hand in his.

"Um, Nya," Nya said

"Nya! Oh, sounds like a flower. How may I help you, Flower Nya?" Shifty said happily.
