Dungeon Party

~Misty, Cole, Vania, and the Lowly~

Misty had regained consciousness and she opened her eyes to see Vania bent over her with a worried expression on her face. "Oh, thank the mountain your awake," she said. Misty let out a groan and rubbed her head. She coughed and rubbed her throat, "Where's Cole and Wu?"

"They're over there Cole's still unconscious," Vania said her eyebrows knitted together with concern.

"What!" Misty cried and she staggered to her feet. She ran over to where Cole was laying Wu was beside him. Misty dropped to her knees beside Cole and placed her head against Cole's chest to check if he was breathing. Cole's robes had come open exposing his bare chest and the majority of his stomach. She noticed that Cole's chest and body were covered in jagged scars. She recognized the shapes of the scars as they resembled the faded defensive scars on her arms from crystal explosions. "Cole why didn't you tell me..." Misty whispered softly.

Wu placed his hand on Misty's shoulder and said calmly "Cole's going to be alright don't worry he's just resting, come let's go eat. Our new allies have offered us some food," Wu motioned to three strange men. One was wearing a wizard hat and robes covered in mushrooms and moss. Another was dressed in leather and how a cowl covered his face beside him was a spider that somehow looked friendly it chirped at Misty. The last man had bright orange hair and was dressed like a warrior, a giant two-headed axe was on his back. All three of them waved at her while grinning brightly.

Misty awkwardly waved to them and muttered out of the corner of her mouth to Wu "I'm okay I'm going to stay here with Cole,"

Wu nodded and walked off with Vania. Misty sat beside Cole and gently brushed his hair from his face. "Cole please wake up," she pleaded softly. The spider scurried over to Misty and nudged her with its head almost to comfort her. The man wearing leather walked over as well and said, "Hey, buddy. Wake up, you're really concerning your girlfriend here!"

Cole let out a groan and opened his eyes only to see the spider gazing down at him, and he promptly screamed, he scrambled backward and straight into Misty. Who placed her hand on Cole's shoulder to comfort him. Cole placed his hand on top of hers to assure her he was okay.

The spider was startled and scurried behind the man in fear.

"Jeez, buddy, relax! That's Adam. He wouldn't hurt a fly. Your girlfriend here looked like she was about to cry, so I thought I should wake you up."

"Where am I? Who are you, people?" Cole said and he glanced back at Misty who shrugged.

"Cole!" Vania cried and she ran over to Misty and Cole, Wu was behind her.

"Vania! Master Wu!" Cole cried

"Thank the mountain." Vania gasped and she helped both Misty and Cole to their feet.

"Good, sir ninja, allow me to make the introductions! May I present, Korgran of Metalonia!" The man in the wizard robes announced loudly.

"Korgran is pleased to meet you!" The warrior shouted cheerfully and hefted his axe onto his shoulder.

"Plundar the Thief! Return his weapon, Plundar."

"Sorry, force of habit." the thief said after lowering his mask, and he handed Cole's shuriken back to him and winked at both him and Misty.

"And I am Fungus the Sorcerer." He then threw some dust into his hand and purple flames appeared he exhausted them as he lowered his gaze and continued to speak, "Around these parts, we are known simply as the Lowly," The others shared his same saddened disposition.

"The Lowly? So you're some kind of team?" Cole asked raising an eyebrow. Misty cocked her head to the side in both interest and confusion.

"Uh, we are a party of adventurers," Plundar explained and they all stood proudly as Fungus launched a mini firework into the air from his hat.
