Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu (Ninjago)

The Message

When Lloyd woke up he saw Misty standing in front of him. She looked furious her eyes were glowing there was ice and snow clumped in her hair and she was shivering she seemed soaked to the bone and the wolf was sitting at her feet wagging its tail in front of its paws was another fish on a stick. It seemed as if she had bribed it to allow it to let her into the base.

"Misty! What are you doing here!" Lloyd shouted and he got to his feet.

"You thought I was actually going to let you go by yourself! I just clawed my way through an avalanche, so excuse my current appearance,"

"You followed me all the way here?! Through that?!" Lloyd said in disbelief

"For Zane, I'd follow you no matter where you went," Misty said with a scowl.

"You can't be here!" Lloyd shouted

"Yeah well I'm here now! let's get going we're losing daylight!" She shouted and she tossed the tacker in her hand to Lloyd who caught it. He didn't even notice she had been holding it and realized she must have taken it while he was sleeping.

Lloyd just sighed realizing it was pointless trying to argue with Misty and got to his feet and the three of them headed out. Lloyd then proceeded to tell the wolf all about his father. Meanwhile Misty did her best to drown Lloyd out by focusing on creating some crystal armor pieces she could add to her robes to make them more resistant to snow and ice.

"So yeah, that's my dad. Garmadon, Lord of Destruction, King of Shadows. I wouldn't normally confide this stuff to someone I just met, but I can tell you. You're just a wolf, and Misty already knows this stuff. Haha. It's kinda nice to be able to get this off my chest actually. But I can't keep calling you 'Wolf'. You ought to have a real name. Hmm. How about Rover?" Lloyd said the wolf gave him an unamused look, looked away, and barked.

"Hmm, don't like that, huh? Uh, how about, uh, Buster? Buddy? Nah, those don't fit. What about Red? You get it? Because, you know, this?" and he pointed to his cheek where her markings were. She barked in agreement. He laughed and said, "We're making progress, Red!"

Misty let out an amused snort hearing this and then the tracker went off and the wolf whined. Lloyd pulled it out of his pocket and extended the antennae. "The mech's signal is getting stronger. This way!" Lloyd shouted to Misty and they took off running toward the mech. "We're getting close!" Lloyd said but then Red stopped walking and started whimpering she barked when Lloyd and Misty didn't stop, and Lloyd finally turned around, and she shouted, "Wait Misty something is wrong!" Misty screeched to a stop and turned back, and Lloyd turned to Red and said, "What's the matter? Look, I gotta go this way. You coming or not?" The wolf barked warily and sat down." Seemingly refusing to move, "Lloyd we need to hurry!" Misty shouted, "Come on, please?" Lloyd begged the wolf, she snorted and followed they walk on for some time until Red stepped on something. She then whimpered when she saw the bones and barked to warn Lloyd and Misty.

"What is it?" Lloyd asked and then he gasped and said, "Bones? What happened here?", He noticed a shadow fly over them and gasped "What was that?! Misty stop!"

Misty stopped with a huff and turned around and shouted "What was that?!" Just then she was yanked up into the air by a giant bird.

"Misty!" Lloyd shouted he rushed forward and tried to grab the girl but missed and she was yanked upward. The bird flew into the air and dove back down and dropped Misty causing her to plummet downward. Lloyd managed to catch her in his arms and both he and the wolf took cover as the bird-dived bombed them. Lloyd placed Misty back on her feet and the bird knocked over a few boulders and they fell toward the wolf. "Red!" Lloyd shouted and he blasted the rocks to rubble and ran over and said, "You all right?" The bird screeched the three took off running the bird in hot pursuit.
