Misty stared at the glittering city they were approaching with awe the Kingdom of Shintaro was breathtaking.
"See? I told ya. How amazing!" Jay cried as the ship glided over the city the Ninja looked down below them at the bustling city.
"I'll admit, I wasn't sure it could live up to the legend, but... it's even more beautiful." Nya agreed.
"The Ivory City of Shintaro. Incredible." Wu cried
"It's like a whole other world," Misty murmured as she gazed at the kingdom above the clouds. They disembarked on the Bounty and were led to the throne room two giant doors swung open to allow them access and they entered. As Hailmar shouted, "It is with great honor, King Vangelis, that I present the famed ninja of Ninjago!"
A man with black hair wearing silk robes sat on an elevated throne and grinned at them and he called out "Welcome, welcome! I'm most pleased you were able to accept our invitation. It is an honor." He bowed to them.
"The honor is ours." Wu said and the ninja bowed as well as Wu continued saying, "Shintaro is beyond anything we imagined."
"I am only a mere figurehead. The citizens of our proud city are the heart of Shintaro." Vangelis said proudly.
"Oh, they're here!" an excited voice cried, and a young woman entered she was wearing a white kimono and had blond hair piled on top of her head glittering golden wings were on her back and she was smiling warmly. The soldiers with her gently took her wings allowing her to stand, from her expression she was extremely excited her eyes wide with joy and glee.
"And please, meet my heart. Her Royal Princess Vania." Vangelis said warmly.
"I am such a fan! I've read all about your adventures. It was my idea to invite you to my birthday." Vania cried as she rushed over to the ninja excitedly.
"It's an honor to be here, Princess." Cole smiled and he gently placed a hand on Misty's shoulder in encouraging her. Misty held out the small box she had in her hand and offered it to Vania. Vania's eyes lit up with joy and she gently took the box from Misty.
"Oh, thank you so much! I'll make sure to open it later!" She cried as she held the box close to her chest and then her eyes grew wide and she said, "So, is it true you've been to Hiroshi's Labyrinth?"
"Affirmative," Zane answered
"Competed in the Tournament of Elements?"
Oh ho, do we have stories for you." Kai laughed
Vania gasped and said, "I need to hear them all!"
"Where should we begin?" Cole chuckled
Vangelis and Hailmar landed between Vania and the ninja and Vangelis said kindly, "You can begin by following me. Tomorrow will be a very busy day for all of us."
"Cole, the Earth Elemental. What is it like to command the very earth? Is it as fun as it sounds?" Vania asked
"Yeah, pretty much," Cole said
Vania smiled wildly at Misty but her face turned concerned as she noticed Misty's concern looked on her face. "Is everything alright, Miss Misty?" She asked tentatively.
"Oh, you can call me Misty, it's nothing," Misty said quickly and smiled a sheep smile.
Cole then pulled Misty into a side hug and ruffled her hair and said, "Actually, Misty here doesn't do well with heights and lately she's been a bit of a restless sleeper. I was wondering if there was anything that might help her tonight?"
Vania nodded and said, "Oh, yes I can have someone bring a cup of calming tea to your room if you would like Misty, tea always eases me to sleep,"
Misty smiled and said, "Thank you, Princess I really appreciate it," The ninja were shown to their room and Vania somehow made sure Misty was across from Cole as the princess seemed to note that they were practically close. Vania also made sure the servants made the room more comfortable to help with Misty's fear of heights such as adding thicker, curtains to the windows so Misty wouldn't have to see how high up she was.
