Misty and The Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu (Ninjago)

My Enemy, My Friend

Lloyd, Misty, and Akita were still traveling toward the Ice Castle. Before them was a huge ice-covered pond that they would have to cross to get to their destination. The sun was setting painting the sky with beautiful pink and orange hues.

"There it is," Lloyd said

Akita changed back to her human form and said "What are we waiting for?"

"It's gonna be dark soon. We'll have a better chance of crossing the glacier by daylight," Lloyd reasoned Akita looked annoyed but agreed and the three settled in for the night. They sat by the lantern, trying to keep warm. Misty was busy gazing up at the stars above her, they were beautiful and took her breath away.

"When you have rescued your friend Zane, what will you do?" Akita asked

"Go back to Ninjago, if there's a way. What about you? Lloyd asked

"I do not know. The forest is my home," Akita replied softly.

"Maybe you can come with us!" Lloyd offered

"Do you have Formlings in Ninjago?" Akita asked

"No," Lloyd admitted sadly

"Then I would be alone there, too,"

"You wouldn't be alone! You'd be with us! We have a really cool Monstery, video games, a hot tub uh, there's just these chickens you have to watch out for," Misty's keeping one as is pet so far, I've been trying to talk her into training it better," Lloyd muttered

Misty sniffed and said, "Like I said maybe she just doesn't like you,"

Akita laughed at hearing this, Akita then started sniffing the air. "What is it?" Lloyd asked Misty sat up from laying in the snow strained her hears trying to hear anything.

"Something is coming," Akita warned and she transformed back into her wolf form.

Lloyd grabbed Misty's hand and ran back to his mech they both crawled inside and started it up. That was when they spotted a dragon flying its way back to the castle. Lloyd pressed the mech against the wall to avoid being seen. The dragon passed by. And Lloyd sighed relieved, Misty then. gripped Lloyd's arm as she saw the dragon turn back around toward them, and Akita growled.

"Akita, get behind me! and Misty hang on!" Lloyd shouted and he activated the slicer and placed it in front of him so it could act as a shield he ran forward to meet the dragon's attack. The Dragon blasted ice at Lloyd and Misty but Lloyd managed to block the ice and reflect it back.

The dragon screeched and flew up. He roared and blasted his ice around Lloyd, trapping the mech. "No!" Lloyd screamed as the Mech was encased in ice.

Misty could hear Akita barking outside and the ground shook as something heavy landed on the ice a few feet away. "Lloyd we have to get out of here before that thing hurts Akita!" Misty shouted and she began to beat on the ice encasing them.

"I'm working on it!" Lloyd shouted and he beat his fist on the control panel and shouted, "Come on, Come on!"

Lloyd managed to break the mech free of the ice. The dragon opened its jaws ready to blast them again but Lloyd slammed its jaws closed and slammed it to the ground. "Tail, tail!" Misty screamed as the dragon's tail came flying toward them. She shot crystal at it trying to stop it but it slammed into the mech causing them to stumble backward.

The dragon then tried to fly away. But Lloyd managed to grab its leg but the mech's hand instantly freezes and they were stuck to the dragon. They were yanked into the air, with it. "No! Not good, not good!" Lloyd shouted

"Warning: Hull integrity at 40%." The mech warned The dragon continued to drag the mech along. Scraping it along mountainsides.

"Ahh!" Lloyd screamed

"30%."

"20%. Warning, warning. Hull integrity: 10%." The mech said

Misty was holding onto Lloyd for dear life Lloyd yanked her into his lap and shouted"I can count down to my own impending doom, thank you!" he wrapped one arm around Misty in an effort to keep her from more harm and he continued to frantically push buttons.

He looked up and that the dragon was trying to crash him into a wall. Lloyd tried to slow down by dragging the mech on ice. And the frozen ice on the mech started breaking, but the dragon threw the mech into the wall. Right before impact Lloyd wrapped his arms around Misty and held her close to his chest hoping to protect her from harm.

The mech was now destroyed and Lloyd crawled out he just managed to pull Misty out with him they landed on the snow both of them were injured. Lloyd pulled Misty close to him as the dragon landed a few feet away from them and started crawling toward them both to freeze them.

Akita ran up its spine in wolf form and jumped onto the dragon's snout forcing it close. She hung on as the dragon shook its head back and forth trying to get rid of the wolf and eventually it managed to toss her against the wall, injuring her. "Akita!," Lloyd shouted he Groaned in pain as he tried to get to his feet.

The dragon lunged toward both Lloyd and Misty, Lloyd wrapped himself around Misty in an effort to protect her from whatever might happen, and then everything dimmed in front of his eyes. Misty closed her eyes and hid her face against Lloyd's chest and braced herself but her vision was waning and soon everything went dark.

The next thing she saw was a figure in armor standing before her. Only his eyes were visible, they were two bright blue glowing orbs glaring down at her where she lay on the ground.

"Zane?" Lloyd's voice said he sounded weak and confused. Misty looked over and saw Lloyd was beside her also on the ground and was gazing up at the figure in front of them. Misty's head reeled at the thought. That the person before them could be Zane. The person before them seemed void of all emotion and humanity the complete opposite of their dear friend.
