Misty, Nya, and Jay arrived at a new level in front of them was a conveyor belt that had spinning orange triangles moving around them. On the other side of the conveyor belt was the Temple of Madness.

"Every single path leads straight into a spinning blade," Nya cried

"Those do not look pleasant," Misty agreed

"Look at there! See it?" Jay cried and he pointed to one of the blades, "There was a thing, for a second. There's another! It's like the game has a glitch!"

"Back on Dyer Island, we learned this was Dyer's very first adventure game, but it was never released because of problems," Nya said thoughtfully.

"Video game obstacles are usually on a time loop," Jay said

"So if we get the timing down, we can make it to the other side," Nya added

"But the glitches are unpredictable, and we can't get past them safely," Jay added.

"Then I guess we'll have to improvise," Nya said smiling as she pointed to the conveyor belt ahead of them.

"Just like dancing," Jay murmured

"Watch what we do carefully Misty," Nya said and nodded to the purple ninja behind them. Misty nodded and got ready. Nya and Jay held each other's hands and started to go through the conveyor belt.

"One, two, three, step!" Jay counted and they stepped through a spinning blade. "One, two, three, jump!" Jay said and they leaped over another blade. "One, two, three, roll!" They rolled through a third blade and encountered a glitch. "Other track, now! " they leaped to the other conveyor belt, but Jay lost balance and fell luckily Nya grabbed his hand in time, she was bent over and was trying to pull him up she looked up and saw the next glitch coming toward her and warned Jay, "It's the other glitch!"

"Nya!" Jay cried

Nya pulled him up just in time and they both started running Misty was following behind them a few steps, and Nya shouted, "Time to pick up the pace!" They successfully passed through the rest of the blades and reached the other side.

"Piece of cake." Jay cheered Nya smiled at him and Misty soon joined them. She stretched and said, "That was better than the last obstacle,"

They then approached the doors to the temple but before they entered Jay said, "Okay, get ready. Video games usually increase in difficulty as you progress," The doors were huge, nearly double the size of the ninja standing before it.

"So whatever is on the other side of this door is gonna be even worse," Nya said

Misty braced herself as the doors to the Temple opened. There was a blinding flash of white light and they all leaped through battle ready only to find an empty sushi restaurant. A hostess in a red kimono with black hair in a bun and a face powdered white with a pink T shape on her face, bowed to them and said, "Welcome,"

"The Temple of Madness has a sushi restaurant?" Jay said in disbelief as the doors shut behind them.

"Hmm, well at least they have good taste in food," Misty muttered as she peered around the restaurant.

"Where are all the guests?" Nya ask

The hostess then approached them and said, "We've been expecting you,"

"You have?" Nya asked

"Of course. Jay Walker, party of three. Right this way," She said and then turned ready to lead them to their seat.

"Oh, perfect, 'cause I'm starving!" Jay cried and he started to run after the woman but Nya grabbed his arm and said, "Jay, it's a trap!"

"No, it isn't. Lots of games have areas like this, where you can recharge or power up, before you have to take on the boss." Jay reasoned. A plate of sushi had appeared on a plate on the bar near where Jay stood and he grabbed one and ate it.
