Reader's POV

I stood on my toes as I stared at Levi who was on his bunk and scribbling something in his beautiful handwriting in the notebook he stole from me.

"Quit it, you brat," Levi was quite annoyed by my innocent peeking at his writing which was just out of pure curiosity.

"Can I see?" I asked while shining his eyes at him and wondering if it would work on him because it had never worked on Floch and only sometimes on Porco.

"No," His reply was straight to the point and my drama hadn't affected him in the least. Much like Floch but at least he took a moment to grimace at my terrible acting and didn't give me a dead reply.

"Hmph," I frowned, "I'm bored."

"Hm," Levi ignored me.

"Hey," My question finally attracted Levi's attention as he scowled at it immediately after hearing it, "How's Isabel?"

"None of your damn business," He gave me the same reply from the last chapter.

"How's Petra, then?"

"Mind your own business?"

"What's the name of your blond friend?"

"Shut up."

"How did you end up here?"

At that question, Levi grabbed my collar from his bunk and pulled me up to the point that my feet were off the ground and the back of my neck was hurting, "What did I say? Shut. The. Fuck. Up."

"Le-Lemme go!" I tried to struggle and not choke and die in his grasp before he released his strong grasp that I now knew that could kill me easily and dropped to the ground, barely standing on my feet as I feel on my bed and coughed a bit and going to sit in the corner as I brought my legs to my chest and hugged them from comfort as I memory I had wanted to bury deep and even erase if I had the chance came crawling back and haunted me.

A minute after sitting on my bed and trying to stop my shaking which I called vibrating because it didn't sound as bad and cowardly, the sound of scribbling stopped and I heard the sound of the pen cap being put on the pen head and then, there was just silence as my vibrating got calmer.

There was more silence before I heard Levi pull his hard mattress off the bed frame and knock on the wooden frame. He waited a few more seconds more knocking again, this time harshly as I understood that he was trying to talk to me but I didn't knock back or say anything because I was honestly kind of scared.

"Brat?"

I still didn't reply.

"Are you dead?"

No reply.

"Whatever," he scoffed, "Just don't attract any flies with your corpse."

I was dead silent and in about thirty seconds, I heard ruffling from the bunk above me and Levi jumped from his bed straight to the ground and I forgot a little bit of fear and looked at him in awe.

"Why the hell did you suddenly go quiet?" Levi looked pissed, "You literally just threatened me with a knife like half an hour ago."

That was before you threatened me.

And that was before I figured out that you could end my life with one punch.

Upon not receiving an answer from me and seeing me bury my face in my arms that were hugging my legs, he pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance and tried to massage some pain in his head which he seemed to be unsuccessful at and finally gave in and answered all my earlier curious queries.
