Levi's POV

"Keep your eyes open! Keep your eyes open, Y/N!" I yelled at the girl in the backseat who was bleeding out, whining and unable to speak any coherent sentences before talking to the other one who struggled to remain conscious because of the strong drug she had been given, "Isabel! Can you do something?! Anything to stop the bleeding?!"

"I'm sorry, big bro...," Isabel got quieter by the moment. "I can't do anything to help her."

"Shit!" I cursed as I punched the steering wheel and continued driving as fast as I could away from a warehouse and toward a hospital.

"Big bro," Isabel started talking while fighting against the drug, "If you want...if you want to save her then don't go to a hospital."

"Huh?"

"She's a criminal, big bro. They won't let her free. She'll likely go to a higher security prison if she's lucky but...if she's not then the people out to get her will kill her on the way."

"Then what am I supposed to do?! She's bleeding out! She's dying! We don't have anything like bandages-"

"Big bro," Isabel breathed, "Stop the car and come here. We can't do anything if you don't help her now."

I immediately stopped the car because-because I knew she was right. If I did take her to a hospital then it would be close to impossible to escape with her from there. She had a chance to fulfil her dream if I stopped her bleeding and saved her but if she went to the hospital and was captured, there was no hope for her.

I opened the car door and got out of the driver's seat and entered the car again through the back one. I looked at Y/N whose eyes were wide open as she stared at the ceiling, gasping for air and muttering semi-coherent sentences while tears freely flowed out of her eyes.

"Shh," I wiped her tears with my hand, resting her head on Isabel's lap, hoping that she would not die.

"Armin...Where...where is he?"

"Armin?" I muttered to myself, "I've heard that name before."

"Where is he?!" Y/N demanded an answer, "I fixed the mistake I made! He's okay, right?!"

"What's she saying?!" Isabel turned to me.

"She's asking about someone named Armin."

"He's alright," Isabel answered, "He's fine. Just relax."

"What are you saying Isabel?" I spoke quietly so that Y/N wouldn't hear,

"She's in pain. This 'Armin' person seems to mean something to her. He's probably...dead, if we look at the way she's crying. She needs comfort."

"False comfort?" I narrowed my eyes, "She's going to come back to her senses and she's going to be hurt by your lie."

"That's if she's going to survive," Isabel sighs, still struggling to stay conscious, "We don't know how deep her wound is and we don't have any medical supplies. We have to stop the bleeding with the things we have and she isn't guaranteed to survive. At least this way, she doesn't have to face reality in her final moments."

"She's going to be fine," I muttered to myself before talking to Y/N who was dazedly smiling and muttering more incoherent sentences, "You're going to be fine."

"I'm...fine," She croaked out, "Armin's fine. I'm fine."

I scrambled around the back seat of the car in search of something, anything to stop the bleeding but I didn't find anything. It was a rental car. What did I expect?
