Levi's POV

Her glassy eyes looked at me as if I had just given her the diamond that she seeked as she ran forward and hugged me tightly and let me tell you one thing.

I do not appreciate hugs.

But she wouldn't get off of me even when I tried to push her away as a few small droplets of tears escaped from her eyes and more threatened to be let loose all while she held onto me tightly and thanked me so profusely that I couldn't even get a word in.

"Tch, calm down," I tried to push her away but she was hugging me too tightly for me to do that. I had no idea that she was that strong, especially in an injured state after all our reports had said that even though she was fast, encounters with her have proved that she is not made for fighting.

"Thank you," She mumbled against me, refusing to let go.

"We have to set up some rules," I finally managed to push her away, "Like in a contract. Except that it's not official because it doesn't have any authority's seal on it."

"Okay," She sat down on her bunk and agreed.

"One," I started, "You are not allowed to keep any information from me."

"I can't do that," Y/N had an objection, "If you ask me where I live or my brothers identities then what? I can't tell you those."

"Two," I continued, "I am not permitted to ask for the information you just talked about."

"Oh."

"Do you agree to those terms?"

"But what if you ask me the details about the diamond and stuff like that?"

"I'm gonna ask for those."

"Why?" Y/N looked upset.

"If I'm going to become a real criminal, I at least need to know why and what I am supposed to do!"

"Ok," Y/N pouted.

"Three," I continued making the rules, "We will take revenge on Mikasa no matter what."

"Agreed," Y/N nodded, "I have my own revenge to take."

"Four. We also take revenge against the gang that stole the diamond."

"Keep going."

"Five," I got to the root of the problem, "You clear my name however way you can."

"Mhm."

"Six," I made my conclusion, "After we part ways, we will never appear in each other's lives ever again. If you need to steal a diamond in France then make sure that I am not assigned to catch you because I don't want to see your shitty face again."

"Rude," She pouted, "But it makes sense. Now, I will say the rules that I would like to add."

I leaned against the wall behind me and sighed, ushering her to continue.

"Ahem," Y/N cleared her throat before talking, "Firsty, I will be the captain of our team."

"I object. I am a literal captain. I have done programs to improve my teamwork and leadership so I would be the captain."

"Was," She corrected and hissed, "I am used to working alone and I would do better if you did as I said."

"Absolutely not."

"You know what?" She looked at me straight in the eyes, "The deal is off, then."

"What?"

"You didn't give me the bunk of my choice. You made six rules of your own accord. Now, you will let me make my own rules or the deal is off," She smirked, "Because you need this deal more than me. This is where you are lacking, Ackerman. In the fact that I have a better chance of pulling everything off alone than you do and that your entire life and if you get out of this prison or not rests on the palm of my hand but I can't say the same for you."

"You're wrong," I pushed my bangs out my eyes with my hand, "Your life also rests in the palm of my hand. If I killed you right now, then it's game over for you."

"But you'd never get out of here," Y/N continued, "Not only that, you'd also be charged for murder, meaning that even if they figure out that the diamond wasn't real in the first place then they will still keep you here for killing me. People want me dead but they won't free you for helping them. That's just how this world is and you know that too. Besides, think about the revenge you'll never be able to get. Think about...Isabel and Furlan. You won't see them ever again."

"You little shit," I growled.

"Nothing will change if you swear at me," Y/N was more clever than I thought, "So, are you in or are you out."

"I'm in," I was still pretty mad.

"That's what she said," Y/N mumbled under her breath but I still heard her.

"Hah?"

"Get used to my jokes," She said, "Pretend you didn't hear them, close your ears or compliment them."

"No."

"I'm not asking you," Y/N crossed her legs, trying to get more comfortable on her bunk, "Second, you will listen and do whatever I say."

"And why the hell would I do that?" I crossed my arms and glared at her.

"Because it's one of my conditions," Y/N smiled at me, "And you said that you're in."

"Fine," I clicked my tongue in annoyance of having to agree to those stupid rules but that was the only option if I wanted to avenge mother and father and get out of this place before Isabel and Furlan decided to break laws to be able to come here to see me, "But I also have two more things to add."

"Okay, go ahead."

"If one of us dies, then what?"

"The other continues or leaves the mission, depending on what they want to do."

"And," I approached Y/N, making her gulp in fear, "If someone fails to follow these eight rules?"

"I don't know," She looked at me.

"They will do whatever the other person asks them to do."

"No," Y/N disagreed, "You have to listen to me anyways."

Damn, she's smart.

"They are allowed to take one of the conditions off the contract," I sighed.

"Sure!" Y/N agreed this time before pausing, "Wait, shouldn't we include a 'no falling for each other' rule like all other romance stories?"

"What?"

"What?"

"Where did the fourth wall go?"

"It's Wall Cena; it's bound to disappear."

"Wall Sina is the third wall."

"I'm not talking about the third wall, I'm talking about the fourth."

"There is no fourth wall."

"I know. Because I just broke it."

I sighed, and ignored my accomplice and decided to write the rules (except for the stupid, last one) on paper as I took the notebook I 'borrowed' from Y/N and using the pen I also 'borrowed' from her; we wrote down the terms neatly and signed above our names. Y/N spent ten minutes making a new signature because apparently her real one consisted of her last name and even though we had promised to not meddle in each other's personal lives, if the paper were to be acquired by someone else, it could threaten the safety, security, well-being and life of her brothers.

"Now," I clicked my tongue, "Tell me the plan, damn brat."

A/N = Did you know that half of Marco got eaten? And he's not all right.

Sorry. Bad joke.
