CHAPTER 18

JAYXHANNI

After having lunch with sunghoon, he decided to tour some apartments near by. His parents gave him the green light since they see no problem with it.

Jay just felt the need to get out since he wanted his own place. His parents, as carefree as they are with him, have been suffocating recently with his engagement to Sullyoon. He just wanted get away.

"This is our 2 bedroom apartment." The guide said as he gave a quick tour.

"Great. I'll take it." Jay said without giving it another thought. "Can I sign the lease today?" He followed up.

"Of course, let me get the paperwork started." The guide said.

He checked his phone, he noticed that Hanni still hasn't texted him. Her class should've ended by now. He didn't think much of it but he was anticipating her text. He then decides to text first if he wanted a response so bad.

*text*
Jay: Hey, how was class?

He puts his phone back in his pocket. The leasing assistance was more than happy to get him started. He was just trying to get everything over with since he was already over touring. Jay signs the papers which took about an hour and a half.

"Okay Mr. Park, all the paper work should be done. Here is your key card and Code, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us." The leasing assistant said to him.

"Ok, great. Thank you." Jay replied.

Jay checked his phone for the 3rd time, he also noticed that Hanni still hasn't texted him back. It was no big deal since she might still be in class but he can't deny he was a little disappointed. He puts his phone back in his pocket and continued to run some errands.

HANNI'S POV

Hanni had just gotten out of class when she feels her phone vibrate in her pocket. She quickly says goodbye to Hikaru as they walked the opposite ways. She took her phone and saw the that Jay had texted her.

She thought about replying but then thought about what Hikaru said earlier before they started their back to back classes together. She wasn't able to concentrate as much after finding this information out.

Hanni just sighed and put her phone back in her pocket. She didn't want to talk to someone who was taken. And on top of that she might've hurt someone else. Maybe Hikaru was right. Maybe Jay plays to much girls. She tried to shake off these thoughts but wasn't in the mood to be in campus anymore.

Hanni started to make her way back to the dorms. She tried to calm herself and just relax in her own bed and do her homework. As she got to her room, she get her bag on her bed and laid down.

Minji comes in the room and sees her laying on the bed. "What's up homeskillet?" Minji greeted.

Hanni sighed. "Imma check out for the day." She said pulling her fuzzy blanket over her.

Minji noticed she was kind of down and not her usual self. "Are you good?"

"Yeah I'm good" Hanni said not looking at her.

"Well it's about dinner time soon, you wanna come out with some of my friends to eat?" Minji offered.

Hanni thought about the offer but politely declined. "It's okay, I still have to finish up some homework." She explained.

Minji was a little worried but she didn't want to push. "Okay, text me so if you want something for to go." She said before grabbing her purse and leaving.

Hanni rolled to her side and hugged her pillow. Her phone then rings. She tried to feel for her phone without looking. She brings the phone up to her face and sees that Jay was calling.
