CHAPTER 16

SUNOO'S POV

Wonyoung and Sunoo met up after class to go to smoothie place. Sunod drove as promised. He really just wanted to cheer Wonyoung up. He never thought he would be this close to her.

Sunoo paid for both smoothies, the cashier hands him the cups. He thanks them and takes them where Wonyoung was sitting.

"Here you go" Sunoo sets the her smoothie down infront of her.

"Thank you!" She said smiling at it before putting the straw in. "How much was it, I'll pay!" Wonyoung offered as she reached in her purse.

Sunoo sat down on the opposite side "No, don't worry about it, I got it."  Sunoo said waving his hands in refusal.

Wonyoung pouted. "I'll get you next time for sure." She said before taking another sip of her drink.

Wonyoung was used to having fake friends that just stuck around her because she rich or famous. Being with Sunoo was refreshing since he was different. The two were conversing about school until someone walked up to them.

"Hey you're Wonyoung, right?" The guy asked.

Wonyoung looks up at him. "Do I know you?" She asked but not in a condescending tone.

The guy laughs. "No, not yet. But you did go to my frat's party on Monday." He explained. "I'm Hyunjin." He held out his hand.

Sunoo looked at the guy as he quietly sipped his smoothie and politely smiled. He noticed the guy eyeing Wonyoung.

Wonyoung takes his hand and shakes it. "Nice to meet you, this is my friend Sunoo." She pointed at sunoo.

Hyunjin look at Sunoo and smiled. "Nice to meet both of you."

"It was a fun party." Sunoo added.

Hyunjin scratched the back of his head. "I actually came here to apologize to you for what happened at the party. I heard someone made you uncomfortable. But I heard you left by the time I heard about it." He explained.

"Oh no, it's all okay now. Also it wasn't you guys fault. But thank you." She said back. She appreciated how he took the time to apologize to her.

"Well just in case, don't ever hesitate to call me when you need help. It's the only way I can make it up to you." He hands her a piece of paper with his phone number on it.

Wonyoung takes the paper from him. "Thanks." She smiled at him.

"No problem, I'll see you around." Hyunjin said before flashing her a smile and walking away.

Sunoo sipped his drink and chuckled.

She looked at Sunoo and raised an eyebrow. "What?" She asked.

"I think he liked you." Sunoo said

Wonyoung blushed and rolled her eyes. "Who doesn't though?" She joked.

"True." Sunoo smiled.

SUNGHOON'S POV

Sunghoon came to school with Jake for their afternoon class. He picked Jake up and went to the gym before they go to class. Jake suggested they get something to eat real quick. So they made their way to the dinning hall.

"Jay just texted me, he's coming soon." Jake let Sunghoon know.

Jay then shortly comes in the dinning hall to sit with them. "Yo."

"Bro, the fuck have you been?" Jake said to him.

"I've been here." Jay said before going on his phone. "I need an off campus apartment. I'm touring one today." Jay said.

"What's wrong with staying at home?" Sunghoon asked Jay.

"You tired of sneaking girls in?" Jake said before laughing with Sunghoon.

Jay kept a straight face. "I don't get around like you." He said in defense.

"So you got a girl now?" Jake asked almost in disbelief. "I thought Sunghoon would be first."

Sunghoon stayed quiet, he thought about what went down last night. He thought about texting Wonyoung to clear up what ever miscommunication they had. But he thought to give her some space. He ended up leaving after that and thanking her family for dinner.

"Oh speaking of that, how was that dinner party?" Jay asked sunghoon.

Sunghoon sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "Wonyoung ended up telling me she liked me." He spilled.

Jake and Jay seemed unfazed. "So she finally did it? What did you say? Are you guys together now or something?" Jake asked.

"What? No, I told her I wanted to focus on training." Sunghoon defended himself.

"So you turned her down? How she take that?" Jay asked while kept on his phone to look for apartments.

Sunghoon was quiet as the last night replayed in his head. Wonyoung did not take it well.

"Welp, at least you ripped the bandage." Jake shrugged before standing up.

Maybe Jake was right. Sunghoon thought. Maybe it was better that it was like this. Wonyoung can finally move on from him. But is this what he wanted? Why didn't it feel right? He shook it off not wanting to think about it anymore.

JAKE'S POV

All three ate breakfast/lunch together. Jake then remembers that he had to go get the information for his volunteer hours. He had to go see Haewon at office space. Jake wondered why Haewon hates him when everyone in campus likes him. He quickly finishes his food before standing up.

"Aight boys, gotta go." Jake said picking up his trash.

"Where you headin?" Jay asked him.

"I need to get my volunteer for sports this semester." Jake explained.

"I need to do that at some point." Sunghoon said still eating his food.

"Yup, anyways, I'll catch y'all later." Jake said before walking away.

"Later." Sunghoon and Jay said in unison. Jay was still on his phone.

Jake made his way to office space and sees Haewon by herself again. He walks in the door with a big smile on his face. Haewon not liking her hurt his ego a little. He wanted to get on her good side so they can be at least friends.

"Hey prez!" Jake greeted her.

HAEWON'S POV

Haewon was all alone in the office space now that she sent Jungwon and Sullyoon to get the book for Prof. Kim. She quickly got on task and made the copies.

She then hears the door open but paid no attention to it since a lot of students from other organizations use the office space. She then hears someone greet her. She looks up to see it was Jake again.

Haewon kept a straight face." Jake, what do I owe this pleasure." She responded.

"I came to get that info for the clean up?" Jake said explaining why he was here. He walks closer to her where the printers were at.

"Okay, let me look it up for you." She walks over to her laptop to print the sheet.

As soon as the paper printed, she grabbed it from the printer and gave it to him. "You just have to sign this and you should be good, the time is on that paper as well." She said before walking back to what she was doing.

"That's it?" Jake asked.

"Yup." She said not paying anymore attention to him.

"Ah." Jake said kind of disappointed.
