CHAPTER 46
SUNGHOON'S POV
Sunghoon was walking to the library. He agreed on studying with them since he had time before his next class during the afternoon. He was scroling on his phone when a text from Wonyoung popped up.
*text*
Wonyoung: Hi from Milan!Sunghoon: you look really good.
Wonyoung: ^/////^
Wonyoung: Thank you my love!"Sunghoon! Wait up!"
Sunghoon heard a familiar voice as Sunoo ran to catch up with him.
Sunghoon smiled. "Hey." He said stopping to wait for him.
"Jay said he'll be a little late today. He just texted." Sunoo said as the both started walking together.
"Yeah, when is he not late?" He said in a monotone but with a smile.
Sunoo just chuckled at his joke as they both made their way to the study room.
The two of them reserved the room in advanced. They checked in at their reserved time and started setting up their laptops and books. They wasted no time and got to studying.
Some time had passed, Sunghoon stretched his arms out from sitting in the chair for so long. He quickly checked his phone to see a couple more text messages from Wonyoung. He couldn't help but sigh a bit louder than he should've.
This caught Sunoo's attention as he looked over with his eyes what Sunghoon was looking at on his phone.
Sunghoon caught him looking over on his phone and they both look at each other catching Sunoo by surprise.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to snoop." Sunoo apologized sincerely.
Sunghoon shook his head. "No you're good, I just...I'm just new to all this." He admitted in a bit of defeat.
Sunoo pursed his lips before starting again. "Wonyoung seems really happy these days." He said to reassure Sunghoon.
Sunghoon kept staring at his phone. "I don't know..I do like her." He said looking Sunoo on the eyes.
Sunoo smiles at him. "I mean just play it by ear." He scoots his chair over. "Looks she sent me this photo from her shoot. You should compliment her skirt..."
As Sunoo kept talking Sunghoon turned to look at him. Did he always glow like this? He thought to himself.
"Sunghoon?" Sunoo said to get his attention since he seemed aloof.
Sunghoon stayed quiet as they were now closer and were connected eye to eye. There was something there, some tension. Sunghoon's eye flickered down to Sunoo's lips. It was silent, too silent.
That was until Jay walked in.
JAY'S POV
Jay was on his way to the library to study with Sunghoon and Sunoo. He thought it might've been better than being alone with his thoughts. He was still pretty down after Hanni turned him down.
He enters the study room and found Sunoo and Sunghoon were already there before him. "Morning guys." Jay said before setting his stuff down on the table.
"Hey Jay." Sunghoon greeted him while following him with his eyes trying to compose himself from what just happened.
Sunoo simply just smiled. "I'm gonna go ahead and get something to drink. Do you guys want anything?" He asked.
Sunghoon locked eyes with Sunoo. "Surprise me."
Sunoo kept the awkward smile before nodding then leaving.
Jay started to unpack his things on the table really lazily. "Argggg, I don't think I can do this today." He said in defeat.
"Oh? You too?" Sunghoon said as he put down his laptop screen.
"I'm an actual idiot, that's what it is." Jay said before sitting down.
"That makes the both of us." Sunghoon said rolling his eyes and the situation he got himself into.
Jay rested his forehead on his palm. "I really fucked up with Hanni."
Sunghoon looked at Jay all confused. "What's Honey?"
Jay turns his head while still resting on his palm. "Hanni is a girl. An amazing girl that I actually liked." He explained.
"Ah, you really move in silence, Jay." Sunghoon said. He was completely out of the loop in Jay's personal life. But in Jay's defense, he never shares. And neither does Sunghoon.
Jay sits up and opens his laptop. "Fuck....anyway. How are things with you and Wonyoung?" He asked while still looking into his emails.
Sunghoon took a pause before answering. "Peachy."
SUNOO'S POV
Sunoo sped walked out of the library. He has Jay to thank for inturpting whatever the fuck just happened there. His heart was beating out of his chest. He didnt know what to think. He really thought they could bond over Wonyoung but that, that was something else.
He kept walking to the dinning hall and sat down at one of the tables to think through what just happened. He took out his phone and opened his messages with Wonyoung. He stops, he didnt know what to say. What is he even going to say?
Sunoo took a deep breath, maybe he was the only one who felt that off. Maybe he was overreacting. He need to confirm things before going off and ruining a relationship, and his friendship with Wonyoung.
He turns of his screen and took another deep breath to gain back his composure. He got up and went to grab some drinks for everyone. Then after, he was going to confront Sunghoon after.
HANNI'S POV
Hanni stayed in bed as Minji came in to see her moping still in her pajamas. Minij tilted her head and pouted since she didnt like seeing her friend like this.
"Hey! Get up!" Minji said jumping to sit down on Hanni's bed. "We're going out tonight." She said shaking her.
"Minjiiiiii, I reaaaaalllly song want to. I'm not in a going out mood." Hanni said sluggishly.
"Nope nope nope, no excuses. I'm not taking no for an answer. You need this." Minji further explained.
"I don't have it in me." Hanni said as she hurried her face in her pillow.
"Trust me, the best way to get over a guy is with another one. Men are replaceable." Minji said in a solid tone.
"That doesn't sound healthy." Hanni said without moving.
"It's not, but who cares, were young." Minji rebutted.
"I'll humor your idea, but this is the only time." Hanni said turning around to face her.
Minji simply smiles before getting off the bed and started to look for something to wear.
Hanni said he'd and grabbed a pillow to put on top of her face.
