CHAPTER 23

WONYOUNG'S POV

It was finally Friday and Wonyoung was getting ready for her little date with Hyunjin. He had invited her out to the movie event at downtown. She agreed to go just to make Sunghoon jealous. She wasn't gonna like Hyunjin was really cute, maybe she should just move on if there was no hope with her and Sunghoon.

Hyunjin was also a legacy like her. His dad was also in the same fraternity. He had texted her that she was infront of her house. Wonyoung quickly rushed downstairs and got in his BMW.

"Hey." She greeted him with a smile.

Hyunjin smiled back at her. "Hey, you look gorgeous. Shall we go?" He asked as he put the gear on drive.

Wonyoung slightly blushed. "You don't look too bad yourself, Let's go." She replied.

SUNGHOON'S POV

Sunghoon pulls up to the movies. Jake had texted him where to meet since Jake was driving himself there. He checked his phone for the time and to text Jake that he's arrived.

Once Jake texted him to confirm he was also here, he got out of his car and walked to enter the movie theater. He sees Jake and Beomgyu standing to the side of the concession counter.
Sunghoon walked over to meet them.

"Yo. What we watching?" Sunghoon asked the two as he approached them.

Beomgyu turned his head to see Sunghoon approaching. "Ayye the ice prince made it!" He daps him up.

"We're watching a scary movie." Jake answered him as he does the same.

Jake then sees Haewon and her friends arrive. He then waves them over. Jinni and Lily walked over with Haewon not far behind.

"Hey I'm glad you guys made it." Jake said to the girls. He looks over to Haewon who didn't look too excited to be there.

The group was conversing about their classes and what they had going on. On the same note, Wonyoung and Hyunjin walks in. Wonyoung spots the group, especially Sunghoon. That was the first thought, then she sees him hanging out with a bunch of girl. This was enough to make her blood boil a little.

"My friends are here, should we go say hi?" Wonyoung said to Hyunjin.

Hyunjin turns his head to look at her. "Oh yeah." The two walk over.

Sunghoon catches them in the corner of his eye as they walk to at their direction. He was surprised to see Wonyoung here too, especially with Hyunjin.

"Hey Wonyoung." Jake greeted them. "Yo wassup Hyunjin?" Jake says as he daps him up.

"I'm good, you?" Huh in replied.

They then joined the conversation. Sunghoon stole some glances from Wonyoung. She noticed that he was silent again. He didn't look too happy about her little date. But it didn't seem too obvious since he was usually reserved.

JAKE' POV

As the group was talking again, Haewon taps Lily and tells her that she was gonna get some snacks for the group. She then quietly walks away to go to the counter. Jake notices and follows her to help her pay/carry all the snacks.

"I got it." Jake tells Haewon, catching her at the counter as she was about it pay.

"No it's okay. Haewon says as she takes her debit card out of her purse. But as soon as she was about to hand the lady her card, Jake was quicker and already gave the lady cash.

"Jake, let me pay you." Haewon said to him feeling a little bad.

Jake just smiles at her. "Get me next time." He said as he grabbed the cups and the candies from the counter and walked over to the group.
