CHAPTER 14

EUNCHAE'S POV

Eunchae went down the stairs to grab a quick breakfast. She felt a little better from last night. She decided to just act normal around Niki, there was no point on making things complicated if he doesn't want to talk about it.

"Good morning baby girl, are you heading out already?" Her mom greeted her.

Eunchae goes into the fridge and grabs jelly from the fridge. "Yeaaaa, I have an early class today." She said putting toast in the toaster.

"Well your father headed out early too. He wanted me to tell you to consider the academic team this year." Her mom said taking a sip of her coffee.

Eunchae continued to make her toast. "How come I saw this coming? I'll MAYBE considered it." She replied putting jam on her toast before taking her bag with her.

"Okay, you be good okay?" Her mom said to her.

"Yea yeah." Eunchae Said giving her mom a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

She got into her car and took off. The commute was 15 minutes to the school. She parks the car and texts Jungwon since they had the same class.

Eunchae: yoooo u here?
Jungwon: I have to be. Wya
Eunchae: just got here. Meet ya near building A?
Jungwon: yuh

Eunchae puts her phone in her back pocket and starts to walk to meet Jungwon.

NIKI'S POV

Niki came to campus earlier than usual today. He was walking with his headphones on. He was in his little world for a second. He then sees Jungwon standing near the vending machines. He remembered he needed to talk to him about volunteer hour so he walks toward his direction.

"Jungwon!" Niki yelled to get his attention.

Jungwon looks up to see Niki approaching him. "Aye, what's up." He gives him a hand shake.

"I need some volunteer hours for sports this semester." Niki said.

"Yeah, we have a clean up coming up if you want to do that." Jungwon said the one that popped into his head first.

Eunchae walks towards the both of them. "Clean up?" She asked

"Yeah, he needs hours for volunteering." Jungwon turned to Eunchae in reply.

Niki stood there and gave her a small smile.
Eunchae returned the gesture.

"Alright, I have to head to the library to study a bit." Niki said to the both of them before walking away abruptly.

Before Niki can get away, he was surprised by Leeseo walking up to him.

"Oh Hey Niki!" Leeseo greeted.

"Hey, what's up?" Niki remembered her from the night before.

"Funny I ran into you this early but I wanted to let you know there's another study group tonight." She beamed. "Are you making it?"

"Ahhh I can't tonight. I'm about to head to the library actually to study." Niki explained.

Leeseo looked a little disappointed. "Oh, I'm headed that way so I can walk with you." She replied.

"Oh okay. Let's go." Niki said before walking away with her.

Both Eunchae and Jungwon saw the interaction between the two. Eunchae looked confused for a second. She had never seen that girl before. She felt a heavy feeling in her chest.

"Guess Niki made a friend" Jungwon said.

"Yeah..." Eunchae managed to get out.

JUNGWON'S POV

Jungwon went in to Bio class with Eunchae as they sat next to each other in the lecture hall. They both had the same idea since they sat towards the back since they didn't want to be noticed by the professor. This was gonna be one of their longer day since lecture was an hour long.

"My dad wants me to join the academic team." Eunchae told him.

"I mean why not, you're already here Monday through Thursday." Jungwon replied.

"Yeah but I like fucking around with y'all." Eunchae said getting her notebook and her laptop out.

"You have too much freetime." Jungwon's laughed.

As Jungwon was getting his stuff out of his bag, he then sees Sullyoon enter the lecture room. "This girl is everywhere." Jungwon thought to himself. Both of them made a quick eye contact before Sullyoon broke it. She walks towards the left side of the room and takes a seat.

"Bro you want some gum?" Eunchae said to him interrupting his thoughts.

Jungwon blinked and looked at Eunchae. "Yeah give me some." He replied.

WONYOUNG'S POV

Wonyoung came to class with her eyes still puffed up. She had been crying all night from talking Sunghoon how she felt. She tried putting cold spoons on her eyes but it only helped a little. She was thinking of skipping today but she didn't want this to bring her down. It was only going to be worse is she stayed in bed crying.

Sunoo met up with her before class. "Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked while giving her a bottle of juice.

"Ugh terrible but I'm too pretty for that." Wonyoung said faking it til she makes it.

"We should do something after class or something, you know, to make you seek better. Sunoo smiled at her as they walked together.

Wonyoung sighed and linked arms with him. "I give up. To think I liked him for 10 years. I'm giving up on you Park Sunghoon!" She almost yelled.

"It's his lost Wonnie." Sunoo said trying to cheer her up.

"We should go to the mall after class." Wonyoung suggested.

"Okay, I can drive." Sunoo said excitedly.

HEESEUNG'S POV

Today was Heeseung's day off. He had no class today but he still wanted to keep up with his class. He lived in the student apartments near campus since it's his second year. He liked living by his own, it was a big change from being in the dorms. His morning consisted of reading early and drinking his iced americano.

Heeseung thought about Yunjin. He never dated after she left. He was very heart broken after what happened. Now that she's back, did he want to keep seing her?

He took another sip of his drink. His mind was clouded with these thoughts ever since seeing her at the party. He played with the corner pages of his book.

Heeseung shook his head and took his phone out.
