CHAPTER 27

NIKIXEUNCHAE

EUNCHAE'S POV

Niki was drinking all night with his team mates. With the pace that they were consuming alcohol, it didn't take long for Niki to start getting drunk. The whole room was starting to spin but he was very hype.

Eunchae was just vibing with the group as she got on her phone. It was no fun being DD, but she had already said she'd do it. Niki finally made it back to the group after finally getting away from his team.

"C'mon let's take that shot now." Niki said as he put his arm around Eunchae. She can smell the alcohol on his breath.

"Let's go." Jungwon said in reply.

They all walked over to the counter as Heeseung poured all of them a shot. He hands Eunchae one but she declines. All three took the shot.

"Did y'all enjoy the game?" Niki said slurring his words.

Eunchae notice that he was losing his balance as she tried to hold him up. "Niki, are you okay?"

Heeseung noticed as Niki was slowly closing his eyes. "Yeah, I think he's done for tonight."

"Yeah I think I'm gonna take him home." Eunchae said putting his arm around her to help him up.

Niki didn't even have it in him to protest, the alcohol was making his head throb and he just wanted to lay down.

"Do you need help?" Jungwon asked.

"I should be good, y'all enjoy the party." Eunchae  replied. "I'll come by after dropping him off. Just text me." She said before dragging Niki away.

Eunchae tried her best to get him out of the house and into her car. "C'mon Niki." Telling him to get in. He groans in response. She reached over him to buckle his seat belt and closes the door after. She sighed in exhaustion and got into the drivers seat.

"Uhghhh.... My...head.. huurts." Niki said with his eyes closed as he rests his head on the window.

"Yep, you're too turnt." Eunchae said as she backed out of of her parking spot.

Niki reclined the passenger seat so he could lay down. "Arhggggg." He groaned again.

Eunchae rolled her eyes as she drove away. She drove to his dorm which he shares with one of his soccer buddies which was still at the party. They finally reached the dorms as she parked right at the front.

Eunchae breathes out as she realized that she needed to help him out of the car. "Okay Nik- NIKIIIII" she said in a roar. Niki had thrown up in her car.

"Goddamit..." she said in defeat. "I deserve this." She said as she remembered she threw up on him last party.

She quickly got out of the drivers seat to help him out. She carefully maneuvered around the vomit as she decided to clean it when she comes back. Eunchae finally get him out of the car as they enter the dorms.  "Niki gimme your keys." She turned to ask him.

Niki slowly reached in his pocket for his keys and gave it to her. She pushes him in and closed the door behind him. Eunchae leads him into the bathroom. "Here clean up, I'll get you a shirt." She said to him as she rummaged through his closet. He leaned over the sink and washed his mouth.

"Here." Eunchae handed him a shirt.

He just held the shirt and swayed almost losing his balance before Eunchae caught him. "Ugh, go sit on the bed." She said as she lead him to his bed. "Up!" She said as she lifted his shirt up and took the clean shirt out of his hand to put the new one on him.

"Lay down." She commanded him. "Do you want some water?" She got up and grabbed water out of their mini fridge. "You're not allowed to get drunk again." She said opening the cold water bottle before giving it to him."

Niki furrowed his eyebrows as he weakly reached for the water and gave it back to her as soon as he was finished.

Eunchae sighed in relief. "Okay, imma go, you get some res-." She was cut off in surprise as Niki held on to her hand to stop her from leaving.

"Stay here." He managed to whine out.

"And what lay on your twin bed with you?" She said in a sarcastic tone.

Niki didn't say anything back but squeezed her hand tighter.

Eunchae blushed as she realized he wasn't playing. She sat down on the bed and made his way next to him. She pulled the cover over the both of them. Niki's eyes were closed as she felt his warm breath. She pulled him into a hug so now they were cuddling.

"Don't fucking throw up on me." She said in a whisper as she felt butterflies in her stomach. She closed her eyes as she fell asleep hearing his heartbeat.

NIKI'S POV

Niki woke up in the middle of the night a bit more sober than he was a couple hours ago. "How did i get into my bed?" He thought to himself. He tried to adjust his position, he felt something heavy on his arm. He looks down to see Eunchae sleeping next to him.

He was confused how this has happened but he didn't hate it. Niki pulled her closer and looked at her sleeping peacefully. He couldn't help but smile and kiss her forehead.

"Mmm" Eunchae shuffled and yawned. "Niki? You awake?" She asked looking up at him.

"Eunchae, I like you." Niki said without any hesitation. He felt like this was the right moment.

Eunchae's eyes widen as they were so close to each other. Their breath was in sync. Niki cupped her face.

Both stared into each other was eyes for a moment and without another word, Eunchae gave him a small peck on the lip. This took Niki by surprise. She was so embarrassed she hid burrowing her face in his chest. Niki just chuckles and pulls her closer.
