CHAPTER 51

JAKE'S POV

Jake was spaced out in class as he was doodling on his notebook. As his big game comes up, his schedule was full of early morning training. So he was feeling a bit tired today.

A girl walks past Jake and hands him a note by placing it on his chest. The girl goes back to her seat a couple rows behind him.

Jake opens the note and sees a phone number written on it. He assumed it was hers. He looks back to see who it was as the girl game him a flirtatious smile.

The teacher dismissed class and everyone got up to go. Jake stands up and walks over to the girl and hands her the paper back between his pointer and middle finger. He smiles at her before walking away.

The girl opens the paper up as she read what was written on it.

"Sorry, I have a girlfriend."

Word travels fast in this university as everyone in campus now knows that Jake Sim now has a girlfriend. Everyone was in shock to see his bachelor days are now over.

Now the question is, who is this girl? And how did she manage to be Jake's girlfriend.

Jake makes his way to office space to see Haewon again before he heads to practice. He spots his girlfriend filling some papers.

He noticed that Haewon was wearing a turtle neck. This made him laugh and feel bad at the same time. He knew she was hiding the hickeys he gave her the other night.

"Yo, Jake!" The fraternity using office space called him over.

Jake turns to him and walks over "Yoo!"

Haewon noticed him as he walks over to the group.

"Big game soon! We'll be there to support you bro." One guy said before dapping him up.

"Yeah? I appreciate y'all." He said thanking them for their support.

"Word on campus, you got a girl now?" One asked Jake. "Whos the lucky Girl?"

"I mean-" Jake started before Haewon got his attention as she coughed almost choking on her coffee.

"I'll let y'all know when the time is right." He said before walking away.

One of the guys Student council walks over to Haewon and hands her a napkin. "Are you okay?" He asks.

Haewon takes the napkin and wipes her mouth. "Yeah, I'm alright." She replied. She was caught of guard as she over heard Jake's conversation.

Jake walks over to them. "Hey, just needed help with my volunteer hours." He lied.

"Oh Haewon, you're going to the get together later right?" The guy asks.

Jake couldn't help but listen. Haewon? Go out? He was feeling FOMO just thinking about it.

"Yeah, I'll be there." Haewon said smiling at the guy.

"A student council get together?" Jake interrupted.

"Yeah but it's open for everyone, you should come Jake." The guy said to him.

Haewon panicked. "Um we would understand if you couldn't though since you might have practice." She said.

"I'd love to come." Jake responds to the guy before looking at Haewon.

"Great! We will see you there." The guy said before walking away.

Jake just smiled at her as Haewon gave him an exasperated look.
