CHAPTER 57

EUNCHAE'S POV

Eunchae and Jungwon rushed to the hospital to see how Niki is doing. Jungwon had to take her keys from her to prevent her from driving nervously on the road. As much as she was in a hurry to get to Riki she had to get there safely. They were the first ones there since his teammates were still at the field finishing the game.

Both of them hurriedly got out of the car and entered the hospital. Eunchae rushed to the front desk to ask which room Niki was in. The nurse told them that they had to wait for a little bit before seeing him since we had still getting treatment.

Eunchae felt like shit as she sat down in the waiting room. This whole argument between Niki and her made her feel so guilty. She knew injuries were part of playing sports but it's make it or break it when it came to Niki, especially with his scholarship.

Jungwon walks up to her with coffee in hand. She looks up as Jungwon's hands her the cup. "It's gonna be a long night, you might need it." He said before sitting down.

Eunchae takes the cup of coffee from him. "I got in a fight with Niki a couple days before the game." She started before taking a sip of her coffee. Jungwon just took a sip as well while listening to her.

"I can't help to think this is my fault somehow." She paused. "He got the chance study abroad while playing soccer and he probably thinks I'm pushing him away."

Jungwon let her talk before responding. "Niki cares a lot about soccer. But he also cares a lot about you." Jungwon said, knowing of Riki's crush on Eunchae since highschool. "You guys will be okay." He said reassuring her.

Before Eunchae could say anything, the nurse came over giving them the okay to come in the room.

Eunchae quickly got up her seat and entered the room where Niki sat on a hospital bed. They had just done X-rays and put a splint on his left leg.

Niki just looks over to his friend and girlfriend with a loopy smile.

"I'm about to adjust his bed down. He might fall asleep, he's on pain killers right now. The doctor is gonna put a cast on him soon." The nurse said pressing a button on a remote to lay him down before leaving the room.

"Did we win?" Niki asked with his eyes half closed.

Jungwon tried to hold back his laugh and be serious for Eunchae until he looked at her and they had the same idea.

Eunchae just smiled and walked up to the bed. "No, games not over, stupid." She said rubbing his arm.

"I wanna take a video so bad." Jungwon said pulling out his phone.

"My leg hurts bro." Niki said shaking his head.

"I know. Now take a nap. The doctor will fix you right up soon." Eunchae said taking a seat next to him.

HEESEUNG'S POV

Heeseung was watching the game with a few friends and saw the very eventful game unfold. From president Haewon kissing Jake, Niki getting hurt, and them winning. But with Niki getting hurt, everyone in campus knew the celebratory party was gonna be postponed til the next weekend.

As Heeseung was exiting the stadium, he felt his phone vibrate. He took it out of his pocket and saw an unsaved number pop up. Out of curiosity her opened the text immediately.

*text*
???: soo I love how you just never reached out
???: 🙄

Heeseung raised his eyebrow in confusion until it suddenly clicked.

Hee: Karina?

Heeseung saw the typing bubble pop out immediately after his text back.

Karina: wow, also not saving my number
Karina: I'm so hurt
Hee: sorry, I got really busy
Karina: are you busy now?
Hee: it depends
Hee: wassup?
Karina: you should come over
Karina: *sends location*

Heeseung just smirks and replies before putting his phone back in his pocket.

Hee: aight,bet.

Heeseung drives to the location the Karina provided him through text. With no parties going on and all his friends MIA, he really didn't have much going on.

Heeseung wasn't really the type of guy to sleep around since he was usually focused in his academics and when he's not he's usually gaming. And after everything that went down with Yunjin, he really was working over time to forget about her, about everything. Was this a healthy way to cope? No. But it sure was fun.

It didnt take long for him to reach Karina's place. He knocks on her apartment door and waited for a response. It took a second for the door know to turn and open revealing the dark haired girl. She flashed him a flirtatious smile before pulling him in the apartment by the shirt.

This took him by surprise but before he can say anything her lips were already on his. Heeseung kissed her back pulling her closer to his body. He could taste her strawberry flavored lipbalm Everytime their kiss got deeper.

"You took so long to get here." She said as she continued to kiss him.

Heeseung just kept kissing her while his hands travelled down to her butt. "Sorry, baby. I tried getting here as fast as I could." He said in between kisses.

They both made their way to the couch near by without breaking their kiss. Karina had pushing him down to sit as she crawled on top of him.

He looks up at her as she hovered over him as she put her hands on his shoulder to gain balance. She moved closer to his face ghosting his lips. "Show me a good time like last time" Karina whispered.

Heeseung smiled against her lips almost touching his. He puts his hands on her waist, playing with the hem of her tank top. "You're not ready, princess."

Sooo been uninspired for the other couples but I really wanna write for the Haewon and Jake story line. Was gonna ask yall if you guys were cool with that?
