CHAPTER 31

NIKI'S POV

Niki woke up pretty late. He yawned and stretched his arms and felt his left arm lighter than it was last night. Niki quickly sat up from the bed realizing that Eunchae wasn't next to him. He grabbed his phone from his night stand and checked if he had any text messages. Was all what happened last night a dream? He asked himself.

The door bursts open making Niki jump. It was Eunchae with a gloves and disinfecting wipes. Both of them look at each other.

"Oh you're up." Eunchae said nonchalantly as she set the wipes down.

Niki blinked at her. "Uh.. yeah." He said still assessing what's happening.

"I got most of it out but I put like 4 air fresheners in my car. I feel like I'm gonna die in there." Eunchae rambled.

"Huh?" Niki looked at her with a confused look.

Eunchae looked at him in disbelief. "you don't remember throwing up in my car?" She asked.

Niki returned the shocked look on her face. "I did?" He asked back.

"I actually hate you." She said as she took off the gloves and threw it in the trash.

"No you don't." He said smirking eyeing her reaction.

She quickly turns her head to look at him. "OH! So you remember that?" She said trying not to smile.

Niki just laughs at her response. He holds out his hand towards her. "Come here." He instructed.

Eunchae slightly pouted and looked at his hand. She slaps his hand and then held it. He pulled her towards him making her sit on the bed with him. He gets closer to her and put his forehead on hers.

"I meant what I said." Niki said to her.

Eunchae was shyly avoiding his gaze. "I didn't say you didn't." She replied.

"How about you?" He asked her in a low tone anticipating her answer.

Eunchae looked up at him to see if he's serious. "What the fuck do you think? She said playfully pushing him on his chest.

Niki just laughs and thinks she's cute. Eunchae grabbed his face and kissed his cheek. She quickly stands up and grabs the wipes again. "Don't you have the homecoming dance today?"

"Oh shit, yeah. Do you want to come with me?" Niki asked her as finally got out of bed.

Eunchae pursed her lips. "Uhhh no, not my thing." She said leaning on the wall.

"Dang, you don't want me to be your date?" He jokingly acted disappointed. He knew Eunchae never really liked stuff like this.

"No, but I can be when you get out." She said suggesting a late night date later.

Niki just smiles at her. "Bet."

HEESEUNG'S POV

Heeseung decided to skip the dance tonight. Last night, Yunjin asked him to hang out with him at her apartment. There was no doubt that he still has feelings for her, and from what happened at the party, she might feel the same.

He had picked up food for the both of them before arriving. He drove to the given location that Yunjin texted him. It didn't take him long to reach his destination and park at the parking garage. He followed her direction to his apartment. Heeseung rang her doorbell as she quickly opened the door.

"Hey, sorry." She laughed. "I seem too excited." She said nervously.

This made him chuckle. "No you're good." He reassured.

"Please come in." She stepped aside and gestured through the door.

Heeseung enters her apartment and sets the food down on her kitchen counter. "Your place is nice."  He complimented.

"Thank you! Do you want some ramen? I started making some." She said as she made her way to her stove.

"Yeah sure." He responded. "Do you need any help?" He asked as he walked up these to her.

"Sure, do you wanna grab some drinks from the fridge?" She asked him.

Heeseung nodded as he helped her get dinner ready. Being with Yunjin felt somewhat familiar and comfortable even after not seeing her for a couple of years. They both finally got done getting the food ready and ate together. They decided to watch a movie together after eating.

"What movie do you want to watch?" Heeseung asked her as her browsed a streaming platform.

"Should we watch a scary movie?" She suggested. "I freakin love scary movies."

"Scary movie it is." Heeseung said and out a scary movie on the TV.

The two sat on the couch. Yunjin sat close to Heeseung as he propped up her legs and hugged them. Heeseung rested his arm on the on the couch arm rest and the other arm on top of the couch cushion almost putting his arm around her. A scary part then comes on making both of them jump. She covered her eyes and got closer to his chest.

"Ah fuck!" She yelled. Heeseung was laughing at her.

"What? It was scary!" She defended herself.

"It was, it was." He said still laughing. "More scary scenes should come up so you can come more closer." He subtlety flirted.

She laughs at his attempt to flirt and lighted slaps his chest. "You're too cheesy."

"I tried." He said still smiling at her.

"Hm." She lightly placed her hand on his cheek and kissed him.

Heeseung focused on her lips and closed his eyes to kiss her back. Everything felt right. The movie was still playing in the background as they both tuned it out.  He leans closer deepening their kiss. She hold on to him as he slowly laid her down on the couch.

Heeseung pulled away first. He used his arm to prop himself up on top of her.  Yunjin stretched her arms and wrapped it around him. As they were about to kiss again, a jumpscare popped into the tv making them jump and turn their heads to the screen.

"Holy shit." Yunjin exclaimed. "That almost gave me a heart attack."

"Okay that actually got me." Heeseung just laughs again before going back for a kiss.

Yunjin closed her eyes kissing him back. "We should go to the bedroom."
